I love Cowbridge Road East, with its string of charity shops on both sides of its busy streets. I could spend all day here trolling through the endless array of second-hand books, clothing and knick knacks. My hunt for another additional to my 12-inch collection brought me here. And I was not disappointed, for I found a copy of Get Close by The Pretenders for only 59p (had I another in my clutches, I would've only paid £1 for both, but hey ho). I felt like I was stealing from this charming little charity shop, the price was so shockingly low, so I stuffed the remainder of my change in the collection tin by the till. Bring on the good karma. Albums aside, this Marie Curie Cancer Care location offers a wide selection of shoes, knick knacks, and clothing, but if you're looking to browse a range of books, then you're probably better off heading to one of the neighbouring shops (they're all great for different reasons, just go and have a look. You can thank me later).
