“Having spent weeks visiting every conceivable bed shop in the area and browsing the internet until we became mattress blind, we settled on purchasing a mattress from Dreams on Newport Road purely because of the outstanding service we experienced from Rhys. Rhys was friendly, professional, patient and most of all was genuinely interested in helping us find the perfect mattress, which we did. We cannot speak highly enough of Rhys, and whatever you're paying him it's not enough.”

“Went in to have a look at some beds as we moving, didn’t know what we was looking for or what type of beds is suitable for us. Was greeted by Andrea and assisted us all the way. She tested us on what beds are suitable as I always have back pains. Excellent customer service and very helpful, gave us advice and even gave me a pillow to use when trying out the mattresses. She even offered us drinks as we was in there for quite some time, then searched for the best offer available for us. Just from 1 visit we manage to find the perfect bed, highly recommend”

“I always enjoy going to Dunelm. The selection of household and seasonal items they have is great and I enjoy browsing. I went for a specific item on this occasion but I didn't end up buying anything. I will definitely be going back though!”

“A.very bright store, to get round you.have to follow the arrows, seemed to walk miles, which for someone walking with a walking aid, isn't too good, it could be better designed. Other than that lots on offer, everything you need to set up or refurbish a home from a candle to a full kitchen. Only 4 stars from me because of the layout of the store.”

“24people arrived on a group tour visit to Cardiff check in was flawless Room was adequate but a little dated and the bathroom was a tight squeeze but over all the hotel was clean Breakfast/ evening meal enjoyable and the staff in the restaurant and bar area very professional Advice it’s a card only payment in the bar Fantastic location for all the sites”

“Forest Haven is a serene spot for picnics and relaxation. The towering trees provide ample shade, and the babbling brook adds to the tranquility. It's an ideal place to escape the city and enjoy nature's beauty.”

“The hotel its self is fine the location is great the room was clean, its boiling hot and a fan was provided the staff are friendly, the 1 problem was the car park it was a bit difficult to find we had to go in to the restaurant area and ask where to go they directed us round the corner to the back of the hotel other than that it was a lovely stay.”

“Took my mother-in-law for food for her birthday. We had carvery which was really nice, I had parsley sauce on mine. Staff were very polite and the carvery server was very funny with the mother-in-law as she wanted a small Yorkshire pudding and gave her what looked like a pancake. We had a giggle. Food tasted lovely. Thank you.”

“Reasonable price, clean and comfy rooms. The team is professional, helpful and cheerful. The hotel location is fantastic, an active street, maybe a bit noisy, but very close to shops, pubs, restaurants, the castle, the stadium and the city hall. Better than some 4-star hotels.”

“We were slightly worried about staying here based on some very negative reviews but needn't have worried. We went to the wrong one initially, and easily done apparently, but the staff were lovely, and one of them walked with us in the right direction, so we found the right one quickly and easily. We were greeted by Amanda, who is an absolute credit to this company. She was super helpful, friendly, and efficient. The lobby and hallways were spotlessly clean. Our room was a family room as it was the only type left. It was on the 3rd floor. Again, it is spotlessly clean with crisp white bedding, plenty of pillows, and extra blankets. A good hot shower (stayed in 5* hotels with worse) and lots of fluffy white towels. The room had a double and two single beds for children, and there was plenty of room to walk around. A very cheap stay for a family with young children. Now to the noise. It's a city!!! Yes, it's right by some noisy bars, but put in some ear plugs and sleep soundly. We did!! Also worth mentioning night staff were super helpful to helping us navigate the vending machine after a few drinks!! Definitely would stay again. ?”
