Currently under refurbishment, with notices on the window informing customers that there is a temporary pop-up branch in the Capitol centre. However, the pop-up branch is only open Monday to Friday, and therefore my time was wasted walking over there, only to find the pop up branch closed, as it was the weekend. Please value your customers enough to put the opening times of the pop-up branch alongside the notice informing them of its presence.

Website says it is open , walked for over 30 minutes to deposit some money into my account only to find this sign in the door stating it is closed for another month.

Bank, branches, customer service, everything is an absolute joke. Been trying to resolve an issue I have with an oversea transaction and everyone is helpless, literally no one has got a clue. Absolute joke, as soon as I get this problem resolve, if I even ever get it resolved, I?m closing my account with HSBC for good. Would not wish this on my worst enemies

Went in to change my name with the ID the HSBC website said they could accept (deed poll and birth certificate), but the teller I saw refused to accept it and rudely insisted I was wrong when I told her the HSBC website told me I could use my Birth Certificate.I pulled up the HSBC webpage to show her, she used my phone to scroll through the webpage, and when she realised I was correct she still refused to accept my ID, but changed her reasoning as to why she couldn't accept it from "we don't accept Birth Certificates" to "You're too old to use a Birth Certificate" (also not indicated on the webpage regarding name changes). Not good enough.

Great face to face service, after talking for an hour with the phone support, they locked my account and only way to unlock it was the personal visit to the closest HSBC bank building and to show them that me is really me - show them my photo ID - I am think that they are even little bit too careful with the access control, even the big American based banks do not require that level of the security. Perhaps it would be great for the people who are bit paranoid about the security issues - me and others who not having this problem could find it quite annoying, but the stuff in the branches is very professional and nice. It's took us no more than 7 minutes to restore the access to my internet banking.Perhaps they having not seen me for years so they decided to not accept my answers to all the security questions even if they all have been right - I mean that even if you have no any wrong answers you might no pass the security over the phone (anyway, considering how far mobile technology has been already developed - providing of voice connection which is just laughably low quality - seems like the most of the mobile service providers are very greedy!)

Service so poor I was finally pushed to switch banks. Went in to upgrade my account, the attitude and comments from their senior rep was enough for me to finally change providers after over 21 years of tolerating HSBC's lackluster service. Staff in this branch need training.Never looking back.

Friendly staff always welcoming and very help this bank is better then the one in canton Hsbc, went there today the male staff there his service was bad with the help I needed he sorted it but the look on his face he couldn?t be bothered with it.
