Worst garage I've ever visited. Paid £300+ for a full service and MOT, 2 warnings, first one they said I had to take to a different garage to fix and the second was was fixed by them. I drive away, only to see my disk brake warning light still on. I took my van to another garage to fix the first issue. This other garage tell me that Halfords have fitted wrong parts and that the disk brake light wasn't even plugged in properly. Took it back to get it re-tested, to which they said I had 10 days before I'd have to pay again. I take it in within the 10 days, they have it for a full day, they then call and say they weren't able to fit it in, they also said that I still have 1 issue to fix, the one they said they already fixed, so I tell them that. And they go away saying "let us just re-check that". I bring it back in again, early in the morning, making sure to tell them everything in the morning that needs to be checked, the response I get "yeah don't worry yours is going up next", I get a call at 4:00 telling me that my van is next up, and I ask if that includes fixing everything I've mentioned "yeah, don't worry it will be ready for 5:30". 20 minutes later, sorry we won't be able to fit you in, want us to keep the keys and we can do it tomorrow. My response, you having a laugh! Don't go here! incompetent.

Very bad experience. Last time we booked a heater problem. In the morning we gave the car to the workshop. They said they will have a look and let us know the issues we waited till evening around 5:30pm but when we reached to receive the car they did not even find out the issue and told us to wait.. Later after 20 min they came to us and told me there is a big problem in the heater outlet of the car they cant repair we have to go to the main showroom.. But we didn't go to any showroom and went to another workshop they did not even take 10 minutes to sort out the problem..

Absolutely terrible, simple issue with the car, took two weeks and called most days to enquire what was going on, they didn't even look at it until the second week, keep in mind it was booked in.Then, I got it back and it is still broken, the car is now smoking and there is now something wrong with the engine which wasn't there before. Went in with a simple issue which wasn't fixed and now I've got it back there are even more things wrong with the car. Absolutely ridiculous.

I took my car in for an MOT and service. My MOT failed and I had to make a claim through my warranty company. The guys at the autocentre were very helpful and they dealt with the warranty claim for me because I didn't have a clue what was what to be honest... Anthony and Malik were extremely helpful and even though they are a very busy garage, they were able to sort my car out and get me back on the road! Thanks again guys!

If I could rate them lower I would, this garage is incompetent. It took them almost 6 hours to perform a simple coolant change for a booked in appointment, like many other reviews here. I thought maybe they were one offs, but no, I was wrong. I had to call them and they said they had ?just started on it? after 4 hours, on the 5th hour I went to the garage because it was nearing closing time and they still had not finished to my surprise for a quick job, it actually seemed like they actually only began working on it when I went there physically because I waited almost another hour, making it almost 6 hours since I had dropped my car off. Then to top it all off, they still got the coolant level wrong.Don?t waste your time, go to a better garage.

Friendly staff, very helpful.Quiet store at the end of the day, you?d think shelves would be all messy and products all over the place but no.Everything was neatly tidy which made finding the products I needed a quick and easy task.

Terrible service! Avoid at all cost. Will not even look at your car even though it?s been booked in with a time slot. Took them 3 hours to get my MOT done after its booked time slot. The car was just sat, until I returned back they seen me and took the car in. Hour later and it was just inside the garage not being tested. Halford - you need to sort your employees out!

Booked in for an 8:30 a.m. slot for an air con diagnostic which stated online would take approximately 30 minutes to do. Was informed at 15:40 that my car was ready with a brief description of what was wrong.The work and the description of what was wrong were fine. However, being told a job would take 30 minutes when you have to book a slot and you're then waiting 7 hours is a bit much. Not a moan towards the staff, more the booking system that Halfords use.

Booked online, turned up for my appointment and had a new tyre put on.They?re a bit concerned that they would break my alloy protecter carrying out the work but had no problems in the end.

Ive booked MOT with them. What any other station finds as a advisory they will find it as a reason to fail your MOT. They tried to sell me 4 tyres (my tyres were completely ok and two other MOT stations were surprised halforda failed my MOT on it). Disgusting.
