“I cannot speak highly enough of Cavanna"s Post office and General Store in Senghenydd.Over many many years , generations of the same family shop have always provided an excellent reliable service. It is well stocked but if it doesnt happen to have the product you want ,the staff will make sure to order it in for you.The shop is well known for its efficient and speedy service but is also as well known for the friendliness , respect and courtesy they show all their customers. I for one appreciate the dedication and loyalty Cavanna"s have shown to its customers over the years.”

“As another customer said, the reception is small and if your the second person or more in line, you have to que outside due to the virus which ain't so good in rubbish weather. However, the counter has a bell & from experience, I have been served pretty quickly & only found myself queuing twice out of 10 times of visiting....More so in the summer. The door is open wide these days to allow for ventilation against the virus and avoid contact with the door handle but also has an automatic button if you ever find it closed & a ramp & parking bays for access for disabled users. Loads of parking outside due to it being located on an industrial estate. You won't get your goods if you dont show your ID so take some with you!A very positive experience overall.”

Don't understand the 1 star reviews here - sometimes there are two members of staff but only one is serving as the other has admin to do - they can't always be serving customers. My PO of choice.”

“I love this shop. It has everything. Especially when you just need to pop to the corner shop. Has been a lifesaver on Christmas Eve but to top it all now it incorporates a post office that is open out of normal hours which has been brilliant for me who can not get to a list office usually. The staff are so friendly too. Support your local shop”
