CAUTION: An illinformed jobsworth mans this PO that will try and belittle you in front of other customers when you challenge her outdated knowledge. I wanted to pay a cheque in to my wife?s Halifax account as I have done many times at my local PO without a hitch. She tried telling me I needed a paying in slip to put in the envelope, I pointed out the envelope is the paying in slip as you have to put sort code and account number on it. She even said I should go to the Halifax and get a paying in slip and come back. HALIFAX DONT EVEN DO PAYING IN SLIPS ANY MORE ?

They are a bunch of jobsworths. Refused to send a parcel 2g over weight. A different Post Office took it with no problems. Not the first time they've been difficult either. Also refused a parcel because the address label went round the enge of the parcel.They don't care about their customers.

WH Smith seems to be quite messy every time I'm visiting, though the staff is friendly and helpful if you cannot find what you are looking for. I found this post office always quite crowded and often short staff.

Booked travel monrey on a Friday to collect on the Sat morning at this post office after 11. I drove the 8 miles and got there a bit early at 10.30. I was told to come back at 13.00 as the post should have arrived by then, which was not convenient as I had to go to Airport. So I drove home, packed got the wife and went back down for 13.10. Money still not arrived. I then had to purchase £500 from there stock and left for the airport. On the way i called the main number for travel money at was told that it wasn't being delivered and was supposed to come out of there stock allalong. The fella on the phone cancelled the original order and said I would get refunded in 3 days.If the lady had looked at my order instead of barking orders at the poor young lad I suppose she might have seen this. Luckily I was in a position to buy more but it could have spoilt someone's holiday
