Joke of people who work there!!Phoned to see if my prescription was ready and was told it was. Went to pick it up and then they told me they had lost my prescription. Got told to ring them back for them to be closed, ALL staff there are ignorant and rude! Their attitude is disgusting.

I picked up my prescription and got home to find one of the bottle of pills had been tampered with - the air tight plastic pull off seal was missing and the leaflet was scrunched down the side of the bottle. I dont know if there were any tablets missing or if they were indeed the correct tablets. I took them back and spoke to Jo who refused to exchange them for a sealed bottle. I have none of this medication left, so my health may deteriorate as as result. The manager wasn't there, so I will write to her and my GP, but if I cant get anywhere with Sheppards in Pencoed (lower) I will go to the ombudsman.

Multiple times they?ve either given me somebody else?s prescription with their personal details stapled to it and I haven?t realised until I?ve travelled home OR I?ve gone to collect a prescription and they?ve said ?we can?t supply this anymore? for whatever nonsense reasons then my GP calls them and miraculously they manage to pull it out of thin air. This is consistent, not a one off poor service. An absolute shower of you know what

Terrible atrocious customer service - so many staff but still long delays with no explanation or reasoning. At least let people know if there is a 20-30 mins wait so that people can chose how to manage the situation.

Rude staff, a line of 5 people and ignored by staff while they eat a sandwich and handle medication, totally unprofessional and when you mention your here you just get shouted at to wait?

Rude member of staff. Didn't even look at me to take my prescription .was looking away and just held her hand out. Everytime I go there she is so rude. I know many people who complain about her

This pharmacy is not the pharmacy at the bottom of the road by the co-op this is the pharmacy further up the road opposite the pen y bont arms, google needs to add the other pharmacy, its also sheppards the phone number 01656860480

This used to be a brilliant pharmacy with second to none service, but since it has been sold the service is terrible, the staff are petty, rude and unwilling to help. We are told that they are short staffed like its our problem. Perhaps if they looked after their staff they wouldn't feel the need to go and work for Sainsbury's. Even though you see large numbers of staff at times - nothing seems to be getting done other than gossip. I have no doubt that if you reply you will cut and paste a standard reply rather than address the issue that this Pharmacy needs new caring staff and a manager that can improve the poor standards. I went to the pharmacy after the doctor phoned my wife and said that a prescription was being sent to the chemist. The chemist acknowledge they have the prescription but it wont be ready for another 26+ hours. Why?

Everytime I use this pharmacy I leave angry and disappointed with the service. If the staff aren't ignoring people then they are ushering you out to have their hour long lunch break.

Not a bad service for somewhere so busy, but they have got my prescription slightly wrong a few times. I don?t know what all the the ?friendly staff, great customer service!? reviews are about. I suspect in a place as small as Pencoed they know them tbh. They?re not rude, but for a place as small as Pencoed, they?re not that friendly either.

I am housebound at the moment 28th September. Been trying to call to see if my script is ready for collection, 29th today, still no answer, I need to arrange for someone to collect medication for me, No-one answers the phone, sent an email, no answer , not sure if they are on holiday, or just can't be bothered. You can't really complain about the service, as there isn't any. Very Disappointed... Ahh, we are back, arranged the collection, medication collected, great, but when I eventually get the medication, there's a IOU slip, call and wait again, Ashley answers, and books it for delivery (a once off) for the 3rd October, it is after 5pm, No delivery as yet, trying to call, no answer, someone did answer, but hung up before I could say anything. I think I will change pharmacy, always a problem with, short supply, no answer, no delivery.This is Ripley's believe it or not, Unbelievable but true...

I asked my daughter to get my prescription. When she came back she didn't have some of the items even though they where a controlled drug because I have a terminal illness and need this item . When my friend phoned them they said they never gave it her because she never asked .She did ask for her Dad's prescription so expected it to be in the sealed bag . It was to late for her to return to the chemist as she had to start work and noone else was available to get it for me . My friend couldn't get it as she lives in Caerphilly. I am deaf so had her phone for me so I couldn't do that even . When I had a stroke I had home delivery but I don't have chance to get to the door before the driver goes .( Just had a message saying I should phone them and speak to one of the staff ? They didn't read what I said.)

This chemist, is one of the worst in pencoed village, they are never organised enough, to give a full prescription, the staff are completely unhelpful, as if you have disturbed there busy day, having 10 staff behind the counter all hanging round gossiping about there day, when should be serving customers, I understand the dispensing of drugs needs to be done an checked over for legal reasons, but the fact you can't get prescription right after 5 people checking is a disgrace, I would hope you take the time to read this review, and action upon it.Will review again in 4 weeks, and see if changed

The rest of the nation is back to normal but we still have to queue in the cold up the street for this chemist.
