“Good selection, always get my household items here. If you know your prices you can shop here much cheaper than supermarkets. Parking is good, like going later in the evening not as busy.”

“I've heard their prices are high and they probably would seem that way if you did 99% of your shopping at ASDA. If you only need £5 - £10 worth of stuff tho, they're ideal. Staff have been helpful on the rare occasions my anxiety-riddled arse has been able to speak up.”

“It was my first visit to home bargains. I really loved that shopping. Some items are cheaper than other shops like dry fruits.they have a small collection of Baklawa sweets which I really enjoyed. This shop is bit crowded. I do recommend this shop for someone who is looking for quality products in cheap or low price.”

“This is the best ALDI in my opinion, they have a massive selection and a load of sections full of products, lines went quick despite how many customers there were in store, will be returning again for more.”

“Very good customer service. I travelled from London and found this shop, the owner was very helpful and provided me with good information about the area and had a good chat. Highly recommend to visit for any shopping needs.”

“A huge thankyou to Sharon on self service today. My mother-in-Law is in hospital and wanted her daffodil pin for today, St David’s day, which we couldn’t find. My husband couldn’t find one in store either and asked her if you sold them as she was wearing one . He explained why he wanted one.She said no it was her own. He said no worries. After he paid for his shopping she came over and handed her OWN daffodil pin to him and said it’s for you mother in hospital.Such a kind gesture and my 93 year old mum-in-law will be thrilled to have it. Many thanks again Sharon.”

“Lovely store and good staff apart from the young girl who served me today. No customer service skills, scanned everything so quickly I couldn't keep up with her. Paid for my shopping then realized she hadn't put 3 items through the till. Had to go back and pay for them. If she took her time a little mistakes won't happen. Will make every effort to avoid her serving me next time.”

“It's an absolute joy to shop in this store. It's clean and tidy and the staff are superb. Get there quickly though for your member offers via your app because they sell out fast. It's a very busy store.”

“Even though I pass a Tesco every day and use Lidle for household items, I prefer to get my veg at Filko. Prices are similar, but produce is really good quality and very fresh. They also stock excellent milk, which is nicer than supermarkets most expensive brands. The butcher is also of a high quality at decent prices. Sure, things like cleaning products are a bit more expensive if you are relying on Filko alone but this really is a fantastic shop. Staff are also excellent.”

“I called in here for a newspaper after a bike ride up from Bridgend. Unfortunately they don't sell newspapers but the owner of the shop (possibly the nicest man in the world) gave me directions to nearby shops that sell them, bowed to me, and then wished me (a total stranger to the area) a nice day. The perfect gentleman.”

“Great shop, super middle aisle as you never know whats going to be in the middle of Lidl. Usually manage to buy amazing items at incredible prices. Always good selection of fruit & veg. Prices far more reasonable than your branded supermarket”

“Has the things you would use everyday, but pretty much all food which is fine. It's a ghost town in there, I feel as if nobody goes in there, it is a little bit more expensive than Aldi but I think has more of a selection.”

“It's improved so much lately, and they've stopped trying to give away copies of the awful Sun.Great selection of produce for a small store. The breakfast wrap in the hot section is delicious, love the bacon and cheese turnover too.Use by dates are a bit all over the place so make sure you check the dates on everything before buying.”

“Nice little shop for your top up shopping or a last minute shop. There's quite a good variety of food, drinks and other things for the house but not everything you need. It's quite handy as a local shop but prices aren't the cheapest”

“A big thank you to Julie & Neil who treated my hidden disability and exemption from wearing a mask with care and a true professional attitude. Not once did they ask to see my lanyard which I do hate wearing round my neck but do carry. They were always polite. A great attitude and a credit to Asda.”

“Went to the pizza counter today and was served by a lovely young lady who was by herself despite it being quite busy and other members of staff walking past her without offering help. She still served everyone in the queue with a smile and politely and chatted to us while she made our pizzas. 10/10 customer service from her, shocking she was left to manage everything alone.”
