A great day of mastering with Gethin Jones at Hafod Mastering. The music to be mastered was a live recording with many different 'sound spaces', but Gethin managed to bring them all together and make it into a seamless 'whole'. A massive improvement. Without Gethin's ears and mastering expertise the recording wouldn't sound half as good as it does now. Great, specialist work from Hafod Mastering as always! I'll be back!

My band 'Snow in June' had our album mastered at Hafod Mastering in 2011 and we were immensely impressed with the service, the setting and the sound we took away with us. There can be no more fitting or more inspiring location to complete the long journey of making an album than this most idyllic spot in rural South Wales, and Donal 'the ears' Whelan did a great of making our attended session totally inclusive (inviting input from us and our producer where appropriate) and entirely relaxed and welcoming. Fairy dust of sound. Highly recommended.

Donal is a consummate professional but this does not detract from the warmth and friendliness in which he conducts his work.
