Helpful staff member assisted me with new laminate flooring, I love the flooring, very easy to fit, great quality and finish, but the 'helpful' staff told me I needed 7 packs too many... I even questioned his calculation, but as it happens. I love it so much that I'm going to purchase more to lay most of my downstairs rooms, with the same flooring.

We came to this b&q because they had a good range of kitchen selections. Initially when we were in store the young man was very helpful when it came to picking out our new kitchen.That were a few issues when it came to installing. B&q first got the delivery date wrong and we had to reschedule everything again. Open the kitchen arrived. Bits were missing and when the fitter arrives we had to wait for those bits to be replaced.There was a lady in the store who deals with the kitchen department. She wasn't the most professional person I've spoken to and did come across quite rude. I've also had other people use this store for kitchens and they did make the same complaint about this lady.The kitchen fitter was in and out over 4 days as he had other jobs to attend when we paid quite a large amount of money to have the kitchen fitted within a time frame. And again things were completely wrong as things were missed out and the design of the kitchen was wrong which we had to alter.Trying to sort these issues out with b&q over the phone was really difficult. You'd think for a big company like b&q you would get a bit more professionalism but I felt like I was dealing with cowboy traders.I did feel bullied at times and I felt like I was never going to get a resolution. The kitchen is almost finished now a year later but this could have been ironed out if the people in store actually put their heads together and communicated probably shoddy work from b&q.

My hubby lost the receipt for our flooring even though it was their policy got a refund on the unused flooring Pete was so helpful.

Received appalling and rude service at the Washington store on Sunday the 19th in which my 75 year old mother was ignored by a middle aged cashier who literally scorned her. I?ve complained three times via B&Q website and been told twice that washington branch would contact me to put the situation right. This is nothing but a blatant lie to try and placate me. Avoid Washington store, their cashiers are rude poorly trained and clearly don?t understand customer service. Update - despite a further two promises still no response

5 years I've been using B&Q, trade staff are all great but the amount you need to spend to get you're trade discount is ridiculous. Won't be returning as cheaper elsewhere now.

I bought laminate and vinyl flooring in promotions 4for 3 . The promotion is wrong calculate so I received less discount then I should.I wrote email and From few weeks I waiting for result which I think never comes

The staff really can't be bothered to help, and prefer chatting among themselves. The stock levels do not correspond with those listed online, making for a pointless journey. Shop elsewhere.

Have been served quite few times lately by LAUREN who used to work at Scitswood Road Branch... She's like a breath of fresh air... so very helpful with great cx service.. Always says hello n asks how ure doing. Makes the shopping experience so much nicer.... Quite few of the other staff on tills could do with some of her charm.....Also Bill in garden centre is a real trooper too n was very helpful on a visit this week....Thanks again. ?.
