Alex was fantastic,him and the manager explained everything to us and we're so friendly and helpful,we didn't feel pressured are pushed into buying a new sofa,unlike some stores, would definitely recommend this store to my family and friends (silverlink) and would also tell them to ask for Alex as he is really good at his job,

The staff here were really rude and immediately approach you as soon as you walk through the door, they'll also follow you throughout the store. Even worse if you inform them that you're just browsing!

Initial help from staff was good but when fitter came to measure up he doubled the price of the quote and missed off items required. Spoke to Maureen the manager and arranged for a different person to attend to measure up but Maureen never confirmed the appointment and the fitter never arrived. Maureen is useless and I'm still trying to contact her to find out what has happened!!! Looks like I'll have to make the 40 mile round trip to the store if I want the carpet I've picked. Very disappointed ??

absolutely foul staff couldn't have looked at myself and my partner with any more disgust avoided us even when we were trying to ask for options on a sofa. really disappointed

I bought a corner from here 3 months ago, the foam seats kept collapsing, I had a technician come out twice from scs who failed to resolved the problem and even said the sofa is poor quality. I have complained twice to which I have not heard anything back. Definitely will be looking elsewhere in future.

I was looking for a carpet for my lounge and stairs and Steve was so helpful and friendly in helping me find one.. I?m quite a fussy person but his patience and expertise helped me find the perfect carpet colour to match up with my swatches. And within my budget.All the staff are helpful and friendly but a big thank to Steve for putting up with me..

Visited to buy a snuggle chair for a spare bedroom. No pressure from the sales manager Alan. He was very informative and friendly. Large store with plenty of choice. We bought a chair and hope the delivery due in March will be as stress free.

Called in to order another Layzboy sofa as after 11yrs ours had seen better days. I was greeted by a female sales assistant who took my details and informed me that we had previously ordered the colour Tabac. I was then informed this was nolonger available, so spent an hour checking the swatches for the closest match as we still had a chair and foot stool. The sofa was ordered and deposit paid in October 2021, with a delivery date in May 2022. The delivery was made, but the colour was much lighter. Customer services were contacted and they re ordered a new sofa. In the mean time a piece of leather arrived from China, which matched the one we had delivered. A visit to 3 separate SCS showrooms with this to compare with the store swatches proved it was much lighter and therefore not what we had ordered. One sales person told us that Tabac was still available to order, so another call to customer services who said it was nolonger available. At the end of July 2022 the new sofa arrived and was found to be the same incorrect colour we already had and was duly returned. An email followed from customer service saying how glad they were that we liked our new sofa. Yet another call to customer services pointing out that we were not satisfied and would like to complain. A phone call from Paul, the sales manager at Silverlink was received and after a short apologetic call he confirmed that Tabac was still available and that we should attend a store and confirm it was the colour we wanted and then contact customer services and tell them to email him and he would order a new sofa in Tabac. This was done at the beginning of August and the call made. After a week and no contact I emailed him to check whether he had, in fact, received the email and ordered the sofa. No response and so another call to customer services who said he had been emailed. Still no contact and now the middle of September. They seem keen to take your order and money, but if they have made the mistake, the initial excellent after care has been extremely disappointing. We have not got what we ordered and if we had not been told Tabac was nolonger available, would not have ordered the incorrect colour. Next step is trading standards.

Appalling service and don't deserve 1*. First forgot half of order, waited over 2 months for carpets fitted in end. Can't get through with issues and when eventually do, they have someone else's name on my order and still not corrected!! Carpet fitter eventually turned up but appalling job on 2 of carpets, left something under one of them and who knows what that is!! and went off with stuff paid for but left over even though unopened. Still only half carpet on stairs, as measured wrong and when went into actual shop service again is dreadful. Also trimmings missing between carpets. Someone was meant to be coming today to remeasure stairs....what a surprise never showed up despite me double checking coming. I would recommend if wanting anything from here to go elsewhere.
