Would give 0 stars if I could. I HATE the new layout! Nothing but a glorified indoor ATM where are the bank Clerks and counters? I'm still waiting for my paying in book... I'll be moving from TSB terrible customer service experience in most local TSB branches.

The new layout is so inpersonal...anyone can hear what you say went in today only 2 staff left my mum in the car as no parking...should have demolished with the other buildings...you have to get £500out of the cash machine...while there sussing you out..before I go n get more from the counter. Been with them 60 odd years ?

After struggling to get an account set up I went here, they were super helpful and kind, even arranged a home visit to verify since I had no photo ID, absolutely amazing couldn't recommend this enough. Much better than the Jarrow branch.

I am a very loyal Lloyds customer after having a very bad experience with a rude sales-person in another of the large highstreet banks! I have my current account with Lloyds and although there is often a queue, you are seen to very quickly. Sometimes you are approached by sales assistants from all angles, or are cross-sold products, but I guess this is part of their target-meeting strategies so you cannot really blame them for trying. This particular branch is in a nice old building, it is always very clean with little side rooms if you need to talk about private banking matters. The assistants are always very friendly and helpful and not overly pushy like in some banks. Unlike some banks who seem most interested in putting charges on your account (!) I have found them to be more customer-focused, definitely not unreasonable and easy to talk to. Overall I have only ever had a good experience with Lloyds TSB and would recommend them to anyone who's looking for a gimmick free service.
