My parents ordered food and it arrived faster than I would normally expected. After my parents finished their meal, my food hasn?t arrived after 20 mins of waiting. Very disappointed. Staff was good but not many. Service was alright but could do a lot more faster. Would reconsider to come back 30% /100%. They apologised after we asked twice.

After 30 minutes of watching to-go orders pile up and an empty sushi train track we left disappointed, again. The food was meh. The fact that there is no kitchen management is pretty terrible.

Loved this Yo Sushi. The staff were really nice and it?s great that they use the conveyor belt. We even bought some to take home with us!

Great service, amazing staff. Happy, friendly and helpful. Super with my toddler too!Vegetarian options: I'm not vegetarian but only eat veg sushi, plenty of choice on the belt and to orderKid-friendliness: The staff were amazing with my daughter and she loved the robot waiter! So much he got a big hug!

The food as always is great! however this review is about the horrible staff behaviour. The restaurant was clearly understaffed - which I completely sympathise with. There was two members of wait staff, a light haired boy and a blue haired woman. The blonde boy was absolutely lovely and was running the whole place!! Whilst the blue haired woman was doing nothing to help.The boy was hosting the restaurant, cleaning tables, managing takeout orders, giving out bills and serving customers all whilst dealing with a tech issue in the ordering system. All by himself!!!!The woman on the other hand was chatting with her friends, messing around by distracting both the kitchen staff and the blonde server (both overrun with orders), on her phone and wandering around the tables ignoring everyone?s attempts to grab her attention as no-ones drinks had been served by her.I feel for that poor boy that was left to run the full restaurant by himself whilst his colleague did nothing. The way that women behaved in this restaurant today is unacceptable and rude, something needs to be done!

Would like to say a huge thank you to Olivia,not only some of the most beautiful presentation but the taste was unreal.... so much so I had to order take away on top and ask her specifically to make up ... 10 out of 10Also a big cheers to Ollie for big smiles and amazing table service

If you like sea food don?t order the spicy seafood ramen. 3 tiny prawns, scrappy overcooked piece of salmon and chewy squid. Rest of meal was fine

The online ordering system took us 25 minutes to connect with, a button system should still be used. Food was madly expensive. Two waiters on during a busy lunch time is ridiculous it took ages to even get the bill and then she told us it was a 25% service charge. Madness.

We took a family member here as a treat because we enjoyed our last visit so much. Unfortunately, a few things have been changed since then, and it was a disappointing experience this time.No soy sauce, ginger, or other amendments on the table, and the food didn?t come along the conveyor belt like before, which was a shame.Changes had been made to buying on the app (which we?d used successfully before), and a glitch in the app meant that our entire bill DOUBLED itself, and since you can now no longer pay as you go or even split the bill, we would have ended up with a bill of around £150+.Other items were duplicated in the bill for no apparent reason. It was a stressful experience and took ages to sort out.On top of this, the place no longer accepts cash.To be clear, the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, and did their best with a glitchy system. Despite their hard work, our trip to yo sushi was disappointing, underwhelming, and a little embarrassing after we?d spoken so highly of the restaurant before.We won?t be back, I?m afraid.

10/10 for there customer service, helpful and happy friendly staff quick and easy menu, fresh sensational food and was a brilliant experance watching are food being made for us right infront of are eyes the prices are Reasonable. We loved the robot that brought are food to the table the kids were so thrilled a great surprise for them will be returning very soon. Pat on the back for your branch in newcastle ?

Took 15 minutes to get seated . Eventually had to ask a chef if they were open . Didn?t really feel welcome . Food was ok but classics like katsu squid not available.

We went for lunch. Absolute dross on the belt. Then when something decent came around there was a dead fly lying on the piece of salmon. Made it known to the staff, they just made a new one. Disappointing. The belt just seems to be a gimmick now. Have to order the better stuff. Over-priced and under powered. Go somewhere else.

I like coming here because it's fast and efficient. The quality is good and consistent. However, the music is *far* too loud. It feels like a club and that puts me off wanting to come back. I hope they fix this.

I've been coming to Yo! Sushi for years, since it was in Fenwick's. They've removed the service buttons in some kind of attempt to streamline the service, but just ends up making everything take 20 minutes longer. The food, when it finally arrives, is still nice but what a pain in the hoop to order it.
