Carvery was not great , obviously been sitting in the trays for hours , carrots were just sliced and not peeled so didn?t look or taste nice, roast potatoes were all mushy and soft , very little meat given and yorkshires were just weird, we bought a desert and what they had as rice pudding was like wallpaper paste just awful it was not rice , more likely to be semolina , so that went back , all in all I wouldn?t return , cookie dough sundae was about the only thing that was ok

This was the first time here for Hubby and I. Got seated fairly quickly, and cappuccinos arrived shortly thereafter. We both had the carvery. The food was delicious. Lovely selection of meat and vegetables. Finished off with Apple Pie and custard. Great service, great food, will definitely be back.

Me and the family regularly visit here as its one of the few places the kids will actually eat the food. We usually get served by Wllen who is the most pleasant young lady I've met! She's always great with the kids, nothing is a problem, she's always so smiley and helpful! Highly recommend this place!

Really disappointing. We left without eating. Having been sat we were asked if we wanted a few minutes to look at the menu. 20 minutes later finally managed to get a member of staff's attention who told us we could have just gone up to queue. 10 minutes queuing to discover at 6.45pm they were out of Turkey.

Great roast cavery...so big, couldnt finish it. Yorkshire puds are massive. Worth the money and tasty. Very full and noisy only downside, but staff very nice and accommodating.Parking: Plenty car park spaces available

Upon entering Toby Carvery Shiremoor at 18:30 on 11/03, I was greeted by a female staff member with long dark hair who seemed to exude an air of indifference. Throughout my dining experience, her demeanour remained frosty and dismissive. When I asked a question about the menu, she responded curtly and made me feel like a burden rather than a valued customer. Her lack of professionalism put a damper on what could have been an enjoyable meal. Management should address this issue promptly to ensure that all guests receive the level of service they deserve.
