Standard gym however facilities and equipment need serious upgrade. The soft bench has a huge dint in it to one side and needs replaced as uncomfortable to use. One PT is rude and aggressive

Heavily overcrowded. There should be a limit to the capacity. Due to it I would give 1star, but giving two as the rest of the stuff is fine.

With all the respect nobody gives a @%£# in the specific gym. Free weights are all over the place, havent seen a single personal trainer organising at least a little bit this place. Lot of people just leave heavy loads on barbells; convenient? I dont think so!

Great and convenient gym. Day pass access is very easy. Place is clean and machines are available for one to use.

An amazing gym in the middle of the city! Has all the machines. It can get quite busy at times but gets the work done.

I have been there just one time and after that I have decided to change my Gym .I never recommend this place for who are mind about steps, there three floor and too many steps whisky was annoying for me .The atmosphere OK but very busy Gym.In conclusion I recommend use the other branch of Pure Gym in Newcastle.

I faced racism from one of the staff, as I do not speak English well. She never tried to help me, as the door did not open for me, and I asked her for help and she opened the door for me, but she would not do it. I even showed her my membership. It is unfortunate what happened. I will never rejoin this gym.

Good gym, went at a busy time but friendly people there. A few different floors. Not many staff about but the ones that were there were helpful. =)

Overall it's a good gym, but it's definitely a gym that is 3* when students are in and 4* when they are not.Compared to the gym by the gate it has less resistance kit (example only one arm curls Vs 2) but is almost always busier so you are feeling that you are constantly being watched for when you finished or asked. Hard to get a routine as you can never guarantee that you can get on all the machines everyday and this is during lunch not the 5pm rush.Compared to the gym it's busier, more expensive has less resistance kit. Little things as well that some kit not having additional weights so having to find them. This isn't a problem with the gym. It just seems a gym that isn't as cared about.When the students are not in however it's a nice gym. Kit is always available and it's peaceful.Cannot fault the cleaning staff and general tidyness overall.If I didn't get the vitality discount I would be back to the gym.Okay but I wouldn't join at full price.

I've only been twice, but I like this gym.It's well located in the city centre and has a good range of equipment.It's on three floors so has a good feel about it rather than everything being in one large space.

This is a fantastic gym, great range of kit, 3 floors, unfortunately there is no free car park.
