Damaged walls, rusty bath tub, spiderwebs on ceiling corners, shower head fixed with tape, windows so dirty that you can barely see what's out there.Nice breakfast, nice staff but the premises needs urgent work.Rooms: In need of a renovation.

This hotel is in a superb location on The Quayside at Newcastle but sadly in great need of refurbishment especially the rooms and corridors as they were really tatty. If your room faced the river you would have a magnificent view but unfortunately the one we were allocated faced inwards to grotty buildings and roof.

Stayed at this Hotel and it was not a pleasant experience. My wife and I woke up in the morning having both been bitten by fleas. Whilst we packed my wife saw 2 fleas on the bed, we returned home and complained via email to head office. After serval months and a reminder they eventually replied stating that a full investigation had been done by outside contractors and they found no evidence of infestation. The hotel is in very poor condition, not what you would expect from a usual premier inn. It needs lots of work to bring it up to standard, probably suits stag and hen weekends, not for couples or families.Rooms: Worn out and in poor decor.

As it?s a Premier Inn you tend to know what you are getting, however the place feels run down and in need of some serious TLC. Dirty windows, poor heating, damp smell in corridor?s. All in all it really does feel more like a Travelodge.Staff though are very considerate, go out of their way to help, though the staff on at Breakfast were run off their feet.It just needs a revamp!

The room was horrendous, would definitely not recommend. Was cold and very run down. Definitely needs some TLC. Our friend found a slug on their bed, which goes to show how disgusting this was.

Great location on the river in the centre of Newcastle. We stayed for 3 nights and although the hotel is a little tired now we were very comfortable. Staff very friendly.Rooms: Our room on the first floor was quite tired with the bathroom needing a good spruce up. This didn?t spoil our stay, just not up to standard of the more modern premier inns we have stayed in.

Disappointed with the room. Noisy radiator, hard pillows, and poor toilet roll dispenser (I'm in a hotel room, not a public toilet, and don't want one sheet at a time!)

It is an old historical building, it was very nice to stay in a hotel that smells of history.

Great location right on the quayside next to the Tyne bridge with plenty of nearby bars & restaurants plus short walk into town centre. Rooms are a bit tired for a premier Inn and although great old building does mean cold drafty rooms in winter.

Worn, shabby in desperate need of a revamp.Only one lift working!Breakfast & staff were very good.Rooms: Roughly 1980 decor in a repurposed building?filthy windows because they?ve been pigeon proofed. No view from room 105.

Fantastic location overlooking the waterfront.Area is hilly back up to town. Huffed and puffed a bit myself.
