I prefer flying out of this airport, as opposed to going to a larger international hub. It's easy to get around and there are lots of shopping and dining options. No hassles. The Nexus metro stops inside of the airport and can take you anywhere in the Tyne & Wear area that you need to go. They also offer complimentary luggage carts to use, which is nice.

Staff are always very helpful and understand that people are sometimes in a hurry. A great selection of food to choose from, including vegetarian options!

Very small airport. Easy to get in and out of. Connects easy with their metro trains to downtown and Tynemouth. Nothing to complain about here.

This is a very nice airport... this is small but pretty efficient. the check in process is pretty straightforward you don't need passport to show all over the place , just at checkin....very automated. a good selection of restaurants inside the main area and a good gift shops
