The shop is a convenient local business. The post office is so unpredictable and you are often left standing for long periods of time just to be told they are not open or prioritising a one stop delivery.

Is this post office ever open? I can go at any time of the day, weekdays and weekends, and it will be closed most of the time. They also come up with every excuse under the sun, I presume no one can be bothered to operate it, and they don?t care about their customers that live locally. Awful service.

Not open at 8am. Postmaster has decided to have a lie-in today and will roll up at 10am - maybe! No notice up . Stood waiting for 5 mins before shop keeper told us.

Post office counter seems to be of an inconvenience for the staff. Absolutely no communication when trying to send something, not even a hello. The customer service is non existent.

Always closed especially at weekends. Manager doesn't care about the wasted trips to be told it's shut blaming royal mail systems being down.

Service used to be good. Lately, there have been problems of staffing, systems not running and I have been unable to post items. On third attempt, staff was there but seemed inexperienced, slow and had to be prompted to give proof of postage. Service needs to be improved as they will lose customers.

Staff overall are always friendly, if you ask then they can be also helpful. It is a small shop and you get all the basics you might need for a fairly reasonable price. But this review is more about the post office - that is small and of course better a small office than driving to the town center. Sometimes it just happens that there are too many people in the very same moment so it takes time to get served. I was always given the best advice, if you need you always get the essential stuff like envelopes of various sizes and types or whatever you might need. The major negative is how this post office has been manned - during lunch time yo simply have to wait or come later as it happened to me. Also when you check the opening hours online you get the impression they are open till 10 pm every day - not true, did raised this issue but nothing happened. So during week the hours are till 5 pm or 5:30 pm , not sure now. Not sure if it's open during the weekend but I am sure not on Sunday.

Service can be a bit patchy here as the Post Office counter is not always manned. However, it does the job even if service can be a little brusque at times. The counter could be a little less cluttered as you have to hand parcels over across the scales etc, which get in the way a bit.
