I recently had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Guilford Post Office in Surrey. I was sending a package to a friend in Germany, and the whole process was made incredibly pleasant by the outstanding customer service. The gentleman at the counter was exceptionally kind and helpful, making the experience really smooth. His professionalism and warmth truly stood out. I'm grateful for such a smooth and friendly experience and would highly recommend this post office for its excellent service (contrary what some other reviews have recently said)

Very poor customer service. 4 staff, only one serving. Finally got served and then asked to wait for someone else as they couldn't help. They left me standing there for 10 minutes with no other acknowledgment. Awful experience and this is coming from a patient person.

Just left the post office without sending my parcel. The rudest member of staff! The post office opened at 9.30 there was already a queue of 10 people who were ignored while the person on the desk counted money for 30 minutes. It?s one thing if you tell people what you?re doing and how long it will take but the apathy and rudeness coming from this member of staff was off the charts.I get you don?t want to be there in a Saturday morning. Neither do I!

Got to be one of the worst across the country. Long queue whenever you go, not enough staff to meet the demand and the one they have lazy and rude, self service tills workBut need the staff the complete the transection 80% of the Time. Their waiting time is worse then NHS. It?s better to drive 15-20 minutes to the nearest town then wasting up to an hour there for 30 seconds of service.

The self-service tills are great when they work with one exception: it doesn't seem possible to complete a transaction without the assistance of the "host" who appears to be a scarce resource trying to do other roles as well. This seems to defeat the object of the service.

Agree with all the very negative reviews below. Had terrible experience. Two staff members on this am. One doing ?self service? and one doing travel and no one on the counter at all. Then crafty customers were getting the woman at travel to scan QR codes while the counter queue got longer and longer. The woman in travel was apparently the manager but just ignored the queue and carried on in travel money. This was 10 am on a Thursday. Queue was massive. I honestly think the staff need retraining and the manager needs to go. It was a very unpleasant experience.

Always very slow so be prepared to wait, they simply never have enough staff on the counters. Self service machines work hence 2 stars rather than 1, but their use is limited so the queues for the counter is long.Not good, if you can find somewhere else to do returns or whatever, go there.

Just terrible. 30 minute wait is standard. Understaffed. Staff clearly unhappy which translates as surly and grim.

Inadequate staffing levels mean that this office has a high churn rate and those that battle on are tired and burned out. Utterly disgraceful that a company should exploit its staff like this.

Very helpful staff! Well equipped, spacious! Staff there is very friendly and helpful, I went to send my driving license and one of the staff members ( Nick ) was very kind and helpful, he had even corrected some of my mistakes on the form and put a note to the sender reminding it?s my BRP in there! Nicest post office staff member I?ve ever met!Don?t understand where is this bad reviews comes from.

The slowest and worst post office I have ever experienced. Staff don?t seem to care about the long queues and sit behind closed counter signs whilst the queues get longer. There is no clear management. There is a separate queue for travel money which makes no sense as all should wait in one queue. The self service is pointless as it takes just as long due to no staff covering it. .if I could give no stars I would.
