We had a delivery booked for between 5pm and 6pm. We checked online at 5pm to see when the delivery would arrive, only to find that our groceries were marked as "delivered", which they weren't.So, a bit concerned, we rang customer service and they said it was because our driver was "around the corner" and would be with us soon.We rang again at twenty to six and this time we were told that our groceries would be delived "in half an hour".We rang again just before eight (i.e. two hours after the end of our time slot) and the customer service rep contacted the store but they could not give us any information about what was happening with our delivery. They suggested we wait until 10pm in case our order turned up. If it didn't turn up they would give us a full refund. We declined to wait, and the customer service rep organised a full refund which should arrive in our account in 3 to 5 days. What a waste of an evening. Our dinner was late because we didn't want to be eating when the order arrived, we spent ages on the phone, we didn't settle to anything that couldn't be easily interrupted. And we still don't have our grocery order. We feel very badly let down.

I'm always a massive fan of Asda, and the price is great! The price for petrol is cheap and the product quality is always good. The staff are helpful and friendly, while the tills remain as good as usual

I like shopping at this Asda because everything is on the ground floor and the parking is easy when it's not raining (although they have way too many disabled spaces that are never filled so if it's raining you might get wet walking back to the car).Staff are very helpful and it's a pleasant place to shop.

Again click and collect service is TERRIBLE!!!!!! Especially when paying the express cost. Shocking, no answer on the phone. App and checking in online still sat here 10 minutes before anyone appeared. I really wish they would actually fix this unprofessional approach to this service.

It's a late review regarding Christmas delivery. I ordered chicken for Christmas but it was substituted with sausages. We received a phone call a few hours later and were told that they were aware that this was not an adequate substitute. We had the chicken the next day delivered in a private car and we certainly did not expect that. Now THIS is customer service! Many thanks from local customers.

0 isn't possible. Abandoned my 4 crates on the door step. Driver didn't bother ringing the bell. Shopping wet because of the rain. Couldn't return anything because of no driver then cut off when I called the number to complain. Goodbye Asda, you've lost my business.

Enough staff to block nearly every aisle with trollies yet only a handful of cashiers meaning massive queues.

I put my empty bags on the checkout and the red light goes off wanting a colleague to check. Wait a few minutes - where are all the colleagues? I move an empty bag and ditto. Waiting for a non existent colleague - very poor service which happens all the time. It is not improving. Why aren't the computer people there getting feedback which would solve this. Why aren't management there seeing that there are not enough competent staff there. Also the cig counter very often has only one person who can get tied up with customer returns meaning the queue keeps growing. This is down to bad management. Solution is to change the management to customer friendly.

A superstore for sure. Big, with everything you need all under 1 roof. Aisles are clearly signposted to help you find what you are looking for. Tills with checkout staff, as well as plenty of self scan machines. An Asda petrol station, self service, also on site which is handy.

I Have to shop when store opens on Saturday due to work commitments. I therefore have to use the Self Scan checkouts. Very difficult with a full trolley. I dread going shopping now because there is a member of staff on the Self Service who is less than helpful. This person literally walks away when the scan machine has rejected an item or you need help.

We have been regular shoppers at Asda Burgh Heath for more than twenty years, but we are seriously considering taking our custom elsewhere. On both of our visits over the last two weeks in nirmal working hours, there has been one manned checkout open with a queue of 8-10 trollies and with a resultant queue to get into the self-checkout area. Many shelves are empty of stock, and every couple of months items are moved to new locations within the store for no apparent reason, so necessitating several unwanted circuits of the store.Well-managed? Not at all!!

Local superstore. I don?t like they change the aisle quiet often ? once you confident you know everything where it is, next day it?s completely somewhere else. BUT lots of staff working so you can always ask for help. I like the clearance sections, you can always get something super cheap.

11 out of 13 checkouts unmanned, qué for 20 minutes to go through checkout. Scan and go machines not working. Four staff standing chatting to each other. When asked who the manager was the staff did not know. Nothing on the shelves, the fruit and veg which is meant to be fresh was rotten. Out of date food on the shelves. It really has gone down hill. Aldi is much better
