Friendly & helpful staff, & interesting to look at the latest products.It would have been a 5 star review, but we had a problem with the oven we ordered. Hughes's website stated that the oven was a hardwired one, but when it was delivered it was a plug i type.So we had to go back to the store to explain the problem.We were refunded the cost of the oven, & managed to buy another oven, although at a higher price.It will be interesting to see if Hughes amend the original oven's tech spec to a plug type.

Ive just bought a TV and headfone system that had a fault and their reaction was 1st class. I live around 15mls away and Hughes sent an engineer which resulted in them picking up the TV and leaving a replacement. They did not ask me to return the faulty set which other outlets would have done so top marks for Hughes !!

Easy to find. Easy to park shops. Well set out clean, tidy, easy to walk around. Easy to see the prices in the deals, staff are friendly willing to help well mannered and understanding. well Knowledged in the appliances, black Friday sale is a little bit poor in my view but is a good shop. Lots of sale items,

Terrible service I would not recommend! Have been totally messed about!In response to your patronizing response Hughs here are the details.21.10.23 - T/C to Hughs Martlesham to report wash machine door broken, and that I need a new door. Chap your end said he can't get anyone out until wk later on 28.10.23. I said I hope I will be re;imbursed for the wk that I didn't have it and explained about my disability/health conditions and need to have a wash machine ASAP. Told him I'd need a P.M visit due to disability. Advised I speak to option 3 of your phone numbers.After above phoned back again, spoke to a Neil and re-iterated my need for a PM visit etc-he said he'd note it and contact me if a cancellation occurs. Assured me that engineer would have a new door for wash machine which bar this, was working fine.27.10.23 - Got a text from Hughs stating that I would get a visit between 11-1pm on next day.28.10.23 - Engineer Brandon arrived approx 12 noon. Said he had no door with him and didn't reaslize I needed one! Said I'd get a new wash machine on Wed 1st Nov and it would definately be a PM visit which I witnessed him arranging with a manager your end and that it would be the same model, just a 9kg one.31.10.23 - Text from Hughs saying engineer would visit today 1st Nov between 09.00 a.m - 11 a.m!? Engineer Barney arrived with colleague at 10.40 a.m. With not the same machine and no apology - completely defiant, getting my back up even more. His flies were undone. I then phoned Neil to express my disgust who also didn't apologize. When engineer was leaving the door they used to mobilize machines would not shut. He kept saying I haven't touched it, my colleague must have done it. After 20 mins of angst he discovered the bottom of the door had been hit and dis-lodged. I also saw a big dent in the right side of new machine bottom right (after he left).In the past Hughs have also always arrived at unsuitable a.m times. Totally disability unfriendly and rudeness and incompetence at its highest level. My whole face has been numb today with the stress. I shall be sending this info to Therese Coffey MP. If it breaks down again I shall buy a new one from another supplier and never use you again...and you wonder why I'm upset.
