“We haven't been to Burton on Trent, Octagon, for ages so we thought we would have a relook and wow what a difference. The place has obviously gone through a revamp and it's buzzing. Shops full and busy. No closed down shops and the whole centre is clean and tidy. This place is obviously being successful and is vastly different to Derby which is going downhill fast. Had a lovely cup of coffee at the Centro, in the middle of the centre. We will definitely be using Burton for our shopping in future.”

“Have always had good service here right from when they opened many years ago. The shop now is a lot quieter than it used to be but still get good friendly service. Also a couple of the older members of staff often provide good advice and product knowledge and are happy to share tips on when certain products may be reduced in price. It'll be sad when this place goes (its rumoured to be moving into Sainsbury's...) So make the most of it in its present form whilst you can...”

“I use this part of Burton fairly frequently, as my mother lives in Tutbury and this is her major shopping centre. It used to have so much more, but, sadly, it is falling victim to the onslaught of online shopping.”
