Had a fantastic time here last weekend. I had contacted the customer service department before our visit as I have very difficult dietary requirements, Charlie was fantastic and over several emails and phone calls arranged a bespoke menu for the whole of my stay. Check in was easy and very welcoming, with a glass of fizz! Room 225 was great, very spacious and a very large bathroom, needed a bit of tlc to the floor where it joined the bathroom but only very minor. Restaurant for dinner was beautiful and everyone's food was fantastic, although as stated in other reviews small portion sizes. Breakfast and lunch again very good lots of choices from the menu. My special menu was lovely and no dietary problems with any of the dishes. Again as mentioned in other reviews prices of drinks very expensive and service very slow.Spa was great, but very busy and in need of some tlc in certain areas, paint on floor by smaller pool peeling off and sticks to your feet, also certain guests monopolising the facilities so difficult to get a chance to make us of them.Overall had a great time with family and a lovely way to celebrate a birthday. Thanks again for your help Charlie.

Amazing Place. After an absolutely horrendous experience at an other spa that we walked out of, we called and spoke to Ian on the reception desk. We needed a last minute solution as it was a 50th birthday treat for my wife. Ian couldn?t have been more helpful and welcoming from the minute we spoke. On the arrival we had 1st class service, greeted with a glass of pink fizz. An upgraded suite for the package I asked for was ready for us with a complementary bottle of Prosecco chilled and waiting for us. In terms of facilities - Amazing, clean, warm, not over crowed, everything you expect in an award winning spa. Service - very friendly, always asking if we were ok, no delays for anything. Food - delicious, breakfast amazing. Grounds - beautiful. WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK. Looking forward to the out door pool to be finished. Thanks again to everyone who made my wife?s 50th treat so special, rememberable and relaxing. Kimmo and Victoria x

Spa days at Hoar Cross Hall used to be a 5-star experience however recent visits have been spoilt by an increase in numbers allowed into the spa at once - reduction in guest numbers or an increase in staff numbers is really needed. For instance, our breakfast baps took 45 minutes to arrive and our lunch drinks were served after we had finished two courses. The sluggish service detracted from the overall experience and consumed valuable spa time waiting around.

Spa very busy, no loungers available. Good facilities, quiet areas cold. No where quiet to chat. Lunch nice, dining room cold ! Treatment good , rooms a bit noisy, no heated bed .

Fabulous food, cocktails, great spa, but appalling, inattentive service in restaurant and bar.Impossible to get served in the evening. You are seriously missing a trick. People wanting to spend more money. Thought bar emptied quick. People had probably died of thirst. Amazing cocktails and champagne. Trying to acquire a drink is impossible. We spent 4 hours downstairs for dinner/drinks and managed to acquire the grand total of 1 cocktail and 1 glass of wine each. It was a celebration. A real shame. Management, do your stuff and train your staff. I never thought I'd complain about not being able to spend money. A lesson in sales prevention. What a terrible shame, because the product is brilliant. On this basis though, I wouldn't come back.Rooms: Comfortable rooms and lots of spaceFood & drinks: Exceptional and imaginative food and cocktails. Really top flight. Great shame good service is viewed as unnecessary.

Booked an overnight spa package for 6 women 6 months ago. One has given birth and breastfeeding and the baby won't take breast milk from a bottle, only breast and requires it every 2 hours. After trying to come to a solution; husband getting extra room with baby so wife can breast feed which the hotel wouldn't allow due to it's 'adult only' rule, this has left a bitter taste in all of us. She has had to drop out and not go because the hotel refuses to accommodate an exception for a breastfeeding woman which we all believe is discrimination. This was raised to customer service and the hotel manager Craig. Would we come back? No.

Absolutely loved our stay, the staff are very welcoming, the food was delicious even the set menus included in the overnight stay top quality (& I?ve never seen so much choice at breakfast) drinks including cocktails were really nice and the rooms and spa was lovely! I highly rate this place and will definitely be returning! The grounds are stunning. It was just what the doctor ordered and the cherry on the top was my two treatments by the lovely Jen and Sally- such nice ladies and very informative especially Sally with my facial, we came away feeling really pampered and rejuvenated. Thanks for a fab break!

I had an incredible time at the spa everything was top quality, the rooms, the food, the service. The highlight of the trip was the massage I received. The masseuse, kerjol, was not only kind but exceptional at her job, it was the best massage I have ever received and I receive on average 8 a year. I cannot praise her or her skills enough.

Had the indulgent twilight yesterday. Everything was great, and we felt looked after. The only downside was another group of guests who were very loud, rude, and made it hard to enjoy the tranquillity and relax. They even dominated the whole ladies' changing rooms at the end of the day, with dirty towels all over.

Never in my life have I encountered such polite and kind staff, the service here is fit for royalty truly. The food was beautifully presented with lots of variety and served in the most exquisite ballroom, with grade II listed William Morris wallpaper to enjoy! The spa facilities were perfect, something for everyone and all completely relaxing. We had a treatment at our visit and they were so knowledgeable and thoughtful tailoring our treatments to our preferences and conditions (rosacea, and they have some fantastic advice!). I can't recommend Hoar cross hall enough, I will absolutely be going back!

It is a great spa hotel - the old hall and it's setting is spectacular and the star of the show. The food and drink on offer is also fantastic. The rooms are not perfect but pretty good! Great gym. Lovely pools and relaxation areas in the spa, and the massage was great. Would definitely return!Rooms: Good bed, Nespresso, Dyson hair dryer, and spacious! But the shower head was a bit lowFood & drinks: Loved all of the food, the quality is very good and there is plenty of itNoteworthy details: So nice to see the old hall has been largely preserved and we can still enjoy it's architecture
