We were greeted by Shaun as we entered the store and given information on what was available. As I?d seen an online exclusive, he found something similar to sit on to check height, arm height etc.Once we?d had a look around, Shaun and his manager were able to do us a great deal and we ordered an online one in store, paying a deposit with the balance due when delivery is confirmed.We were more than satisfied with our shopping experience with SCS, Drakehouse Retail Park.

A rubbish product and service. we brought a sofa from here 2 years ago, the cushions and springs have just gone. save your money and go somewhere else. We contacted SCS they sent someone who did not really do anything other then take pictures. we have tried talk to customer service but don?t want to know. We was told if we have a problem go to Trading Standards.

Avoid like the plague.In the beginning everything was well, polite staff helpful and knowledgeable etc. however things quickly went wrong and it became an experience from hell which is ongoing 8 months laterWe made them aware at the point of ordering and when the surveyor came out that the it would be a full house job and that there would be furniture etc. in the house. We moved everything into two rooms aside from the sofa and bed frame as instructed by the store, the fitter came, was not aware there was furniture in the house. Could not cut it up as he wanted to do it in the living room but didn?t tell us, and couldn?t fit the vinyl as it was on the bottom of the pile. We moved everything back, with no carpet fitted.Second fitter came out, said they couldn?t wait for us to move items between rooms and complained there was still some furniture in the bedroom (despite the fact they just turned up with no warning) stated it should be a split job, but the operations manager wouldn?t authorise that day it as it was all on one order, so they didn?t fit any. Queue an angry call from the sales manager who demanded to know why we hadn?t moved all of the furniture (a quick trip to the store with photos of the rooms as they were and she admits they should have given us a call when they were on their way, and that they should have split fit it).Finally, someone comes to do a split fit and fits part of the flooring. The walk-in cupboard we had had measured and specified we wanted fixtures, fittings, underlay and carpet in one piece was completed with no fixtures, no fittings, no underlay and with offcuts of carpet glued down. On top of all of this, the vinyl was fitted at an angle and a surveyor has confirmed this.When we raised the issues with the store we noticed they had also selected the springbond underlay which we had not chosen, which was £2 p/m^2 extra, the sales manager was shocked that we didn?t know despite discussing with her general manager and her at the point of order that we would go for the cheaper of the two options.Raised a complaint, got no response despite repeatedly chasing it for 12 weeks. Went to the ombudsman (which is when the surveyor came out) and despite the fact that we were 6 months down the line and not in a position to move all of our furniture and appliances out for them to refit it and would like a partial refund they just reordered the flooring and have called multiple times asking to arrange the fitting despite having explained we don?t want them to re-fit it after the constant issues with the fitters previously.The solution? A refund for fitting, but only onto the finance which I would not price for another 3 years because it comes off the end because they don?t have a contract with the fitter.In short, don?t expect much from the fitters, make sure to pay by credit card and check your order to make sure they have actually ordered what they asked for.

The worst place ever. I have placed an order with them, been told that I will get a £300 discount, free fitting etc. I think the name of the salesman was Jordan. Worst person ever. He just made me believe is going to be an discount, but at the end of the fitting, I had to pay the carpenter, despite that I have been told is going to be free fitting. I even been told by the carpenter that this guy messes up the order.I have been many times to the shop, called to the main customer service, but they haven't done anything. Big liars and disrespectful towards theMe and how the order have been made it. Will not recommend it at all. Worst place ever

I don't usually do reviews at all but I had to this time. I went to the scs branch at drakehouse sheffield and met a lovely lady called Ellie and she was kind and gave us space to browse around and helped us pick the right carpet and sofas. And then sat us down with the manager Andy. And what can I say, an absolute top bloke! He did his absolute best in his powers to get the price down as cheap as possible and especially these days with the cost of living so high! I always thought scs was very expensive but the price I paid for my carpets, underlayer and sofas was very competitive with the other companies and probably cheaper. I went back today on the 16/03/23 to double check i picked the right carpet and sofas and found a new stock of sofas which were better than the one's I've chosen before and they cost a bit more but Andy did his bit to get them for me for the same price I paid before. I couldn't of got the same quality sofas from anywhere else trust me. Andy told me that a guy called Rick will be coming to measure up my whole house and he will do his up most best to find ways of ensuring the cheapest price possible. Hence the stairs which would be done with the left over carpet which saves hundreds of pounds. Rick was brilliant and Andy was right about him. I'm the kind of person that if I'm not happy I will say so but my overall experience at scs was fantastic! And they offer 4 years interest free credit which is great and scs is trying to do they bit to help the members of the public in these hard times. If you ever pop in to the scs branch at drakehouse sheffield I recommend you go and ask for the manager Andy I guarantee you he will get you the cheapest price possible. Once again thankyou to Andy and Rick. And I forgot to mention that all the staff were kind and polite and manners don't cost a thing.Kind regards ????

Furniture not an issue but I had to delay delivery due to work being done at home.I have now completed the work and rang them for a delivery date.I have rang and rang they will not answer the phone.Terrible customer service, just answer the ruddy phone

Excellent customer service, we bought a G Plan suite from SCS last year but have had problems with it. Hence the delay in reviewing. The faults were down to GPlan not SCS but SCS have been faultless in their resolution process and took steps to replace the suite.On purchase we got a competitive price, the suite was delivered on time and as indicated afersale service has been exemplary. I would recommend SCS to anybody and will use again.

I was told that my chair was out for delivery today between 10.00 & 15.00 I rang to say I was away but had arranged for someone to receive it.I gave the name and phone number of the lady who would be receiving it to distribution. I was then told I would receive a txt on the day of delivery which would be a more precise timeslot. The text said approx time for delivery 11.14. I would get a call 1 hr before the drivers arrived so that someone could be there to receive it. There was someone in my house all day from 11am. By 1pm still no delivery, so I rang to ask why, and was told it would be between 1pm and 4pm. At 5pm, still no delivery. I rang again and was told the drivers had attempted delivery at 10.10 and had taken photos as no one was in! Therefore, when I rang at 1pm, why wasnt I told this??? The person that had stayed in all day was not pleased, Ive now been told it has been unloaded off the lorry and to ring at midday tomorrow to arrange another delivery. Why do you send a time by txt, if youre going to deliver it before that time???
