I wanted to buy some contacts in store; I appreciate that it may have not been possible but the person on the phone was extremely unhelpful and just straight up rude to me. Awful customer service from whoever was on the phone. As someone who works in customer service myself I thought the standards were very poor.

Horrible they messed my date of birth when I came home I noticed on my prescription it was my doughters 20 years younger than me I called them up the made on the phone wasent much help she said it fine it?s still your prescription I said it?s not fine the optician said my eyes have deteriorated from last time a lot and she was comparing eyes off a 43 to a 22 y old ,so according to them it?s fine to mix medical records I have been told that the prescription has to match name and d.o.b it?s common knowledge .They said they would fix it and send me a new one which they did not ,I filled online complaint form they ignored it . I will have to go in store get my money back ask them to delete my family?s details .

Went for my eye test and couldn?t stay to look at glasses. Asked for my prescription ?oh we?ll email it to you? over an hour passed so I had to go back. Then to be told that they would email them. I have been ringing and ringing and no answer. Rang for 20 minutes straight. Beyond let down by the branch and will not be returning. I still don?t have my prescription as I cannot get in contact with them. Rang customer service and they couldn?t get hold of them either. In the store staff stood talk not about customers either and the phones were ringing and nobody would answer. Very very bad customer experience. Will be seeking a refund for my test as I have walked away without my prescription and obviously no way to get it without having to go back.

Hardly ever get through to them when calling the store (just rings out) and when wanting to change address, my contacts continue being posted to my previous address.

I can't express enough how disappointed I am in this shop. I went in to buy sunglasses and I asked multiple times will it be delivered before Christmas and they said yes of course (I paid for them 2 weeks before Christmas and the Manger said it will take maximum 7 -10 days delivery) I told them that I don't live in the uk I live overseas etc and once again the manager said I will get them before I leave the country.. long story short I only got the sunglasses today after paying additional 150 pounds for delivery ontop of paying 150 pounds for the glasses.. all of this could have been avoided if I was told "you're sunglasses might not get here before Christmas etc"

Absolutely useless.I had to wait 2 months for my specks to be delivered. I seriously recommend not to use them. One guy only helped me and told that they don?t have the frame in stock I ordered after a month. Awful experience. Will never use them.

I visited the shop on a Sunday morning and Sam, the Vision express's adviser, provided perfect customer service. He helped me choose the 2nd pair of glasses and I love them! Very professional. Vision express have a large range of spectacles at affordable prices, great offers to suit everyone's needs and I'll be returning in the future for my free eye test :)

A really great service from all staff I dealt with, especially young lad with round glasses (Callum or Cillian maybe?) who was great. Super knowledgable and the best variety out of all glasses shops.

The worst experience ever from VE, walked into the store, was firstly ignored and then hesitantly approached with nothing but moody faces, went into store for further assistance which I explained to the 3 girls at the front of the store who then started bickering over who should help us as no one wanted to help, proceeded to complain about this to the ?manager? who then had THE WORST attitude I have ever encountered, disgusting behaviour as IT walked off mid conversation. I would never ever recommend this branch to anyone. Do not waste your money in this franchise. Quick to snatch patients money but can?t help with any aftercare. I hope this branch shuts down soon for good.

I was prescribed 2 pairs of glasses. I was called by the store to say one pair of glasses had arrived, and the other had not, and that I would be called when the other pair arrived.However, I was not contacted about the other pair and have not been able to get through on the phone for a few weeks now to check if they have arrived so save me a wasted trip. I had my eye test on the 8th July 2023, which means I had been waiting at least 6 weeks for my glasses.I eventually got through to the store, to be told my glasses had arrived, and they were not sure why I wasn't contacted.This is not acceptable! Very poor customer service.

The optician was very thorough and friendly, making sure I was at ease at all times. She took her time explaining all of the details I needed to know and answered my questions exceptionally well. Thank you for the excellent service!

Excellent eye test & wide selection of frames, but wasn't made aware that you don't get 50% off second pair if frames are £25 & under or I wouldn't have spent so much on extras for lenses.
