Went into the bank on a Saturday to do a savings transfer into my normal bank account and I was met at the entrance by friendly staff who then took me to another member of staff in the back rooms who was really nice and friendly and efficient to,it was the first time I'd ever come here and I would visit again,excellent service and a pleasure to be there,nothing negative to say really ??

Was met very quickly and every member of staff I interacted with was friendly, approachable and helpful. I was very pleasantly surprised at how quickly my request was handled.

Popped in today to this branch, on behalf of my elderly mother. Was immediately greeted by a number of friendly, helpful staff. Top marks to Ian, who went out his way to assist me in paying in a cheque that I'd accidentally damaged.Fabulous service! A big thank you to Ian. You are a brilliant ambassador for the company. 10 out of 10 experience.

Very poor service, staff stood around idle, waited half an hour to be served at the counter, this place is hopeless and the staff are braindead and very lazy

I'm giving this 4 stars for how it used to be, I was tempted to give it 5. When all 3 floors were open, with free drinks, pool, bowling, comfortable seating areas, I can't imagine there was a better bank anywhere in the UK! So for the wonderful times before the pandemic, I'm scoring it highly! Thank you for what you've done in the past!Now it's a nice enough building, without the soul that made it special.

Waiting in a queue to pay my credit card at Hillsborough, only 2 counters open yes I know people didn't come out on the hot days Monday & Tuesday so while no-one thought at the bank to put on an extra till to take the excess amount of customers , more & more you are trying to get customers to use Internet banking .?

Not happy about finding a contact phone number. The only number I could find was a General Enquiries number - but this WAS NOT for General Enquiries, there were 3 choices and ALL were to do with mortgages which I neither have or need. I wanted to find out how much could be drawn out without prior notice

Very rude people working in this bank,I have never seen people that rude in my life, very uneducated people, I'm so disappointed to enter a place like this, I'll close my bank and tell everyone I know to close their bank whoever has account here, the only reason I put one star coz I can't leave a review without one, they treat people in a very rude way

I have had an account with Yorkshire for years and was hoping to set up a joint account in Virgin. We were met by 6 members of staff stood around, looking extremely annoyed at us being there, despite no other customers being in the building. When we asked one of the ladies about the process of opening up a joint account she very rudely told us it had to be done online. I said I was just wanting more information, as I was unable to find the answer to my question online, which she was unable to give me and made us feel very unwelcome and stupid. She didn't seem to be able to tell me about any account features. The atmosphere was very unwelcoming and I certainly will not be going back there or opening up an account with virgin based on this experience. I appreciate more and more things are done online now but they really were just basic questions and was absolutely no need for this response. Very disappointing and incredibly poor customer service.

Their Head Office is hopeless. With the takeover from Yorkshire Bank to Virgin which I didn't realise, they'd made a mistake at the changeover and are charging me for something I've already paid. After complaining at their branch in Sheffield and they could see it had been paid on my bank statement seems their HO like to prove it themselves so I got a call at 7pm that night asking if I wanted to escalate the complaint. Yes says I at the beginning of March, still not heard a thing and it is now June. I just keep getting automated replies about how busy they are bla bla bla, Since then received 2 statements re this amount + interest which I'm ignoring.
