Last time I?ll use this post office. Heartily fed up of being patronised and NEVER getting the help requested. I?m local to Penistone but I have since used the post office in Manchester centre which was a much nicer experience. Just not worth the effort.

Staff need a new watch on a Saturday. Supposed to shut 12:30 Hrs. Got there at 12.27 all shut and locked up, disgraceful. Suppose they had Christmas shopping to do.!!!!!!

What awful staff! I went to collect a parcel with a legal form of ID - my marriage certificate (as my name is in the process of being changed) and they rejected it!!!! Petty staff saying that they are 'just following the rules' despite me being able to show that it's my parcel from my account and my LEGAL FORM OF ID. I will taking this complaint further!My response to your reply:I was not rude at all, I did not swear, I did not raise my voice, I spoke with reason to you about this situation that I only have my marriage certificate as my office ID currently until I have my name formally changed. Due to how your awful attitude was with me, I highly doubt even if I bought my actual marriage certificate today that would have made any difference! I have raised it with Evri and will come back with an email confirming that the would allow a marriage certificate! I have also lodged a formal complaint against you due to your awful behaviour and attitude!

Poor service. I went to collect a parcel but the staff member just kept telling me it would be delivered today, even though the track and trace is telling me to collect from the post office. Will not use post office delivery for parcels again. It has cost me substantial time and money.

Convenient for Penistone central, but don't expect good customer service. One staff member is particularly vile, with a really bad attitude. I've had a couple of run ins with her when I have asked seemingly simple questions and witnessed her being deliberately unhelpful with other customers. Avoid if possible.

Completely disinterested staff..Never pick up the phone either. Couple of times ive been now and they are closed early. Not good for people who work. I try to go to Oxspring post office at all costs but signed for post gets redirected there. Go to Oxspring ?

Must admit reading these comments people are spot on, the staff seem not interested and every encounter I have they seem like they don't care. Although that's more than one rather than the other. Also, the "fake" letterbox cut out you use to show what is suitable for a large letter is ridiculous and is around 70% smaller than any standard letter box.
