Used this bank a couple times recently and staff are very friendly. Been lucky enough to get there in an afternoon when it?s not too busy. Would be so helpful if this branch opened on Saturday mornings too.

My 90year old mother in law was recently burgled, she went to the bank to report her missing credit card, the lady she spoke to was kind and sympathetic and went out of her way to reassure my mother in law, the next day a lovely bunch of flowers were delivered from the bank, such a lovely gesture which so uplifted her and I think restored her faith people. A huge thank you to the staff at Nat West for making her day !

Disappointingly after a long bank holiday weekend I found that they are closing early due to ?COVID reasons?!! for the rest of this short week. Is this the beginning of the end for this branch? Reduced hours = reduced customers = closure.

My review is no reflection on the staff whatsoever.The layout, format, opening hours and general efficiency lead me to believe the purpose is to do everything possible to discourage people from using the branch.Constantly encouraged to use the app (which I do when possible) but having a business account this method isn't always practical.The opening hours are useless for some businesses and yet the charges for a business account are extremely high.The only comment I can make in their favour is that most banks seem to be the same to offering the same level of service.

Waited outside today in the queue to get into the bank, when I was at front of queue, the door opened just as a lady was walking up to the bank door, the person bank employee let her straight in with no questions asked, all us waiting in queue were all looking at each other in disbelief, so I marched up to door to tell the employee, he just shrugged his shoulders & said " well she's in now".Which doesn't help all us stood outside patiently waiting.Once I got inside there was no cashier's, I had to use the machines to do my banking, it was extremely slow, no wonder there was 20 or so stood outside waiting.Won't be going back in a hurry.

First, the staff that I have dealt with have always been friendly, professional and competent. Despite this, I will only go here if I absolutely have to....The issues I have are with the branch layout and processes, which are not down to the staff. The majority of the transactions you would do at a branch (deposits and withdrawals, for example) need to be done through machines, which are poorly placed, insufficient in number, and unreliable. If you need to deposit coins, notes and checks, you must put coins into one machine, and get a receipt from that. You usually have to pour coins in multiple times as it will reject some first and second times, then accept them the third. Then go to another machine to deposit notes and checks. Then take the receipts for these to a cashier to have these credited to your account - so you're waiting for 2 separate machines followed by a cashier, and usually fighting with the coin machine - just to make a deposit. The counters are "stand up tables" located slap-bang in the middle of the floor, with no privacy. I get that they're going for a more informal, open-plan feel, but it just means that it feels awkward discussing anything beyond "deposit this" when there's a queue for the machines a foot away from you.

Usually really good but with my recent visit i went to cancel a direct debit and one of the staff members were pressuring me into downloading the app even though i repeatedly told her it didnt work and i wouldnt use it and she then took my card out of the card reader and slapped it on desk, pretty rude in my opinion.

What a poor way to organise service. One person on the door just asking people to queue and only one person working on a desk. This made a huge queue with a member of staff twiddling thumbs at the door??
