Good job I'm not a mystery shopper or they are paid on customer service, was stood next to a tumble dryer for quite some time trying to get someone's attention, there was a lady and a gentleman, not one of them come to assist, at one point the lady looked directly at us then continued walking off and talking to the other person, while we was stood there we purchased the tumble dryer, washer and American fridge freezer online from AO.

Emily & Wayne - looked after me whilst buying a washing machine. I got into difficulty with payments. Thier customer care and endless patience and was amazing. Thank you to you. Currys, look after these amazing guys they are a credit to your team.

Totally disinterested staff! Wanted an iPad and one on display wasn't working. Was told they couldn't open another unless I was buying it. Had cash available to purchase one but only wanted to sell me the newest edition. Absolutely no customer service skills.

Awful experience. Purchased a washing machine and it broke within 3 months. I called the service centre, an engineer was sent out from a sub contractor called Dill & Sons. They maintained the washer was underloaded despite it being full and shaking the entire house to bits. In conclusion, they stated no fault. God knows how when my neighbour can hear it. I had to take a day off work for the privilege.I decided to return it to store and show evidence by way of videos. All staff dismissive quoting policy?s and procedures which they would not provide. Long story short, they stated if I left washer it would be marked as left unattended, and scrapped. I now have to take another day off work for the very same engineers firm to attend (caution before reading their Google reviews). The sub contractor provide a 9-6 time slot again which is less than ideally.I even offered to buy another washer, and leave mine with them for examination. If faulty I proposed I would receive a refund, if it wasn?t, I would stand the cost of a new washer. Again a refusal.Terrible all round, topped off by a staff member laughing.I would have loved to give 0 stars. I am generally very positive in my reviews, but this experience really is shocking. You may aswell buy online. Terrible.

Horrific customer service. Would not support us with exchange for a poor quality product.Would not listen, extremely aggressive staff made us feel intimidated.If you want good service do not use this store.

Went to the store after work on two successive evenings for help with my faulty phone to be told that a member of staff was on 1/2 hour break. I left the store and visited the next evening to be told that there were no staff to help. Went to the Heeley store and they were just as useless. Agree with the poster who complained about staff taking fag breaks outside the front door. Just tacky.

Bought a tv 5 weeks ago . It?s faulty . They have to send to repair . Gone for a min 10 days and that?s fine apparently. Asked for a replacement as so new but no . The TV is not fit for purpose at 5 weeks old don?t think an exchange is a lot to ask . Staff called me love which I hate . Said they could not make a decision other than repair . Accused me of throwing a remote ( which I didn?t ) and were down right rude telling me they didn?t have to help me at all . Tried to log a complaint and their customer contact is even worse . Have to wait 6 days for a call back they are that busy dealing with customer complaints . AVOID. The service is so bad you will just end up stressed out and without your goods .

My rating is purely for the exceptional customer service I received from Wayne and Aryiel. I went to collect my purchase when I was emailed to do so but was initially told it couldn't be released, as a staff member from Carphone Warehouse wasn't present. The only trained Currys member of staff had finished her shift. After explaining I desperately needed the phone asap for the next day, Wayne went out of his way to be talked through the computer process he needed to use, over the phone by Aryiel. When this didn't work she came back to the store from home with her 3 small children to complete the process so I could leave with my purchase. Wow! This was an incredible example of customer service and I can't thank her enough. Currys need to invest in and train the wonderful staff they have, instead of leaving them to be the ones getting stick from customers. If they are offering a collection service, then this should be available whenever the store is open. Staffing issues and having separate companies inside the store should not impact the customer. It doesn't when you are placing your order or paying your money. Wayne and Aryiel are a credit to the company.

I am genuinely impressed with my recent shopping experience at Currys in Drakehouse Retail Park, Sheffield!The team there truly went above and beyond to ensure I had the best possible experience. Their superior service, coupled with great prices, made my purchase all the more worthwhile.What stood out to me the most was the team's unwavering dedication to their customers. Their approach was incredibly customer-focused, offering solutions tailored to my needs. Their helpful attitude and deep product knowledge made the entire process seamless.

Staff stood directly outside the shops front door clearly on their break, blowing cigarette smoke into customers space as they try and get into the shop. Surely the staff have somewhere else to smoke then right infront of the doors, not all customers want a face full of fag smoke? shop itself large but overpriced on some goods.

Walked in and asked about phones. I was told that they didn't have motorola phones and no advice on how to get one. The chap wasn't interested so I called to Chesterfield road and surprise, they had the motorola phone I was looking for. Had I been the assistant I didn't know about what the customer wanted I would have phoned around.

Nice staff (hence the 1 star) but completely let down by their broken agreement and service.Never had any problems previously, have always been our 'go to' company and I've always recommended Currys to others. The staff are friendly and helpful too.Which is why I now feel so let down and disappointed.I ordered a washing machine on behalf of my mum* a week ago and was happy with the promise of good service and delivery. Paid extra for quick delivery, installation of new washer, and the old washer to be taken away.(*My mum has dementia, mobility problems, incontinent and housebound, however she has a great sense of humour!). I explained this to Wayne,(store assistant) who was very understanding, empathic and friendly. He is a credit to their shop, and I fed this back to the Manager.3 days after the appointed delivery date, the washer is not plumbed in, not installed, and the old one has not been taken away!2 washers are now in the middle of mums small kitchen (health and safety?), none work, and no-one has offered any explanation!Consequently, I telephoned Currys this morning and was told I need to get a plumber out! I asked why? The response 'I don't know as there's no information recorded'.I've been in store, explained the situation. Aryiel was very understanding and helpful. She tried to arrange a call out to ascertain why can't be installed and an explanation. Customer service refused the call out, and didn't give a clear answer, and told not really anything they can do. They advised me to get plumber out, and put the old washer out for the scrap man'.Aryiel reimbursed the delivery and installation.Absolutely no explanation from Currys why they are unable to carry out a job they promised, and which we paid extra for their trusted service. And why they've not installed it as promised, left the old washer in the middle of her kitchen and not removed it as agreed. No support in attempting to resolve the issues, even though it's their fault.This is not the service I have ever experienced from Currys. So very disappointed as I've always trusted this company, and been a returning customer for many years.Such a shame.
