Shop at the city center. As usual quality shies are there but not a very big shop and neither good collection. Very few discounted products available. Kids shoes are available. 20%off for NHS workers. Good customer care. The guy is efficient.

After purchasing some shoes less than a month ago and them falling apart. Today we returned them. The shop was not busy and I approached the counter. I had to wait for the girl behind the counter to acknowledge me as she was busy on her phone ?. Once she had finished her very important message she thought she might do a bit of work. She refunded the money back into my wife?s account and my wife asked if we could choose some more shoes ... she turned around and went into the back of the shop. After a few minutes of standing around in the shop where the staff outnumbered the customers my wife approached the manager and she went and got the same girl that initially ?served? us. She was on her phone again??. Totally disinterested in us she brought some shoes and passed them to us for our son to try on while she watched another member of staff dealing with a different customer. Usually at Clark?s they will fit the shoes check the size etc etc. Not this time. My wife had had enough and reported her to the manager who came up with a poor excuse and was equally disinterested. Not going there again! Having said that when we first bought the shoes the staff were very helpful. Must be the Sunday shift. Poor service. Not impressed.

Once again received great service and children's shoes. Booked in advance so there was no waiting around. All the staff were well equipt with protective screens, masks and gloves. I felt confident to be shopping there. The summer shoe selection was excellent. Thank you Clarks!
