“Amazing picturesque views of the Mushroom round about, with views stretching all the way to Dalton. Local wildlife includes Barry the rat (size of a dog lives in Maccies to the left), Gary the spice zombie (Got a quid mate? Gave him some old spice, wasn’t the spice he wanted, will try thyme next time). You can fill up your car with petrol or diesel or hopes and dreams. I fill up really slowly by holding the trigger lightly. That way people assume I’m loaded and can afford a tank full. The harsh reality is I’m adding a £5 to get me to pump 4 from pump 3.”

“Always best to avoid bad traffic times like the school run etc as this station is just before a major set of traffic lights that hold up everyone. I've given it 5* rating because of fuel quality compared to supermarket fuel. The station also has a decent mini market but expect Shell prices on everything not just Shell fuel prices.”
