This garage is convenient for me. Its not as busy as other local garages. Fuel is slightly more expensive. The garage had supplies of fuel when i went throughout recent weeks of manic buying. There was a £35 maximum fuel spend but I believe that has now stopped. I've always found the staff friendly.

No option on the pump for standard diesel, which I only realised as I started to fill up. The gentleman whom I can only assume is the owner was very condescending to a lady behind me who was having trouble getting fuel and then as he was walking back inside rather loudly talking saying \\\"I haven't got time for people like that wasting my time\\\"\\nWhilst waiting to pay for my \\\"extortionate fuel\\\" the gentleman picked up the tannoy and told the lady that she was doing it all wrong and she will have to wait for the next pump. Again muttering too loudly that he didn't have time for these kind of people. I came to pay for my fuel to which he berratingly told me I had gone over by a penny for contact less. It was bang on £45 when I stopped but then again this is a pretty standard occurance at most petrol stations. Put my card in and apparently I hadn't waited long enough to enter my pin. He then proceeded to speak to me very condescendingly took my card out of the machine then put it back in again so I could re enter my pin, telling me I should have waited.\\nI have worked in a customer facing role my entire life and was appalled at this man's attitude. A word from the wise good customer service brings good feedback, customer loyalty and additional customers that boost your sales. If you do not enjoy your job, have little time or patience for people I would strongly suggest that you find something that would suit your temperament and attitude to people in general, perhaps a shepherd on a remote farm in the middle of nowhere.

Not a good place to fill up the fuel is very expensive at this shell service station diesel is 139.9 per litre at the moment on the 22.08.21 I had to go to Wakefield to pick a parcel up I was horrified to see a shell station on Wakefield Road in Wakefield selling diesel at 132.9 per litre on the same day it just shows how this service station is ripping people off.

Went for emergency fuel as satnav sent me on a wild goose chase. Staff were very friendly and helpful and gave me alternative directions. Thank you so much!

Nice clean establishment with plenty of pumps. Shop is very expensive but you expect that from petrol station chains.
