No need for flimsy plastic glasses after 12 on match day and music was loud. I think most people would have preferred to listen to the football on the TV even though it was only Man U v Everton.Tim Taylors was kept well and reasonably priced.

Didn't have anything to eat , drinks only .It was hugely busy but it was on match day .It's a pretty big place and can cope with big crowd. It's nice n close to oakwell so is a good place to drink before the game .

Easy to get to bar disabled is back entrance leading off big carpark front entrance with security staff for match do also staircase to toilets not sure if any toilets down stairs ?

A great pub right in the heart of Barnsley!!! I went in for a quick pint and ended up staying untill closing time. Great staff and great clientele.I highly suggest stopping by for a pint...or five!!!

Called in for the first time in a few years and can honestly say it will be my last.The John Smiths was sour and my Son had a guiness which he sent sent back as sour. The staff said there was nothing wrong with it and asked if we had had anything to eat as it can affect the taste lol.I'm an ex landlord who won awards for good beer so I know what I'm talking about.The lines need a good clean that is all but obviously not done either correctly or regularly enough.Won't be back

Walked in after a train ride to go to the bathroom and get a coffee. Got told to instantly leave without reason. Nasty hostile atmosphere.
