Worst bank ever!! I?m on vacation from the USA and the cash machine ate my card and they now refuse to return it!! HSBC Purports to be the worlds bank. Zero explanation or customer service.

Staff here are always friendly and ready to help, not to mention going above and beyond to help customers in times of need. Lucky to have it as my local branch.

They toke over 600 ponds out of mi bank to pays something off and left me over drawn I went in to ask them about it and the woman was really rude being nasty I asked if they could put it back in mi Bank cos I'm going to get kicked out of mi flat I'd I don't pay my bills said no I'm switching banks

Been banking with them for 15 years and now you can't even get your money out of the bank, it's crazy i will not be using them anymore!

They removed the counter desk from the Barnsley branch, so you can?t withdraw any money out. The closest branch with counter is in Sheffield/Doncaster, quite poor and difficult especially for those without cars.

I was given incorrect information and put on hold by a male employee at this branch /a call centre in Barnsley at around 1:45am (I was calling from NZ and putting me on hold cost me a lot of money.) He still hadn't responded after 20 minutes so I have given up with HSBC, I will transferring all my funds away from this horrible excuse for a bank.

For the last few months we have been messed around being told that we couldnâ??t make an appointment then we had to make an appointment then we didnâ??t need one and then we could call in anytime to move a large sum of money only to be told we couldnâ??t see anyone and could wait an hour and a half to see if anyone could help. They donâ??t know what service is, move banks !!

Used to have an account here a few years ago. Their customer service is absolutely appalling and theyâ??re extremely rude, if they canâ??t be bothered putting the extra effort in to smile in their life they shouldnâ??t be working in an industry which requires face to face interactions.
