My latest visit has only deepened my affection for this special place, as I found the perfect new member to add to my Charlie Bear collection?a charming bear named "Rachel".The moment you walk through the doors of World of Bears, you're transported into a realm where every shelf and corner is brimming with character and charm. The array of bears and plush friends is simply astounding, offering something for collectors and children alike. But it's not just the quantity that impresses; it's the quality and variety, each bear with its unique personality waiting to be cherished.The staff's knowledge and passion for their furry residents shine through in their service. They understand what each bear means to a collector, and the joy a plush companion can bring to someone's life. It was this understanding that made my purchase of Rachel feel all the more special. She wasn't just another bear to add to the collection; she was a character full of stories, handpicked for me.Rachel has settled in wonderfully, joining the ranks of my lovingly curated bear collection. Every time I glance at her, I?m reminded of the pleasant experience I had at World of Bears. This is the best teddy bear shop in the UK. The staff are so helpful. The selection is incredible with all ages, budgets and tastes accounted for. We visit every time we are in Taunton. Huge Charlie bears and Steiff selection. The shop is always up to date with yearly events and yearly celebrations.

Insane range of plush bears, birds, mammals and others. Tucked away looking place, but larger than most larger toy stores inside. Again, I cannot emphasize enough how extensive the range of toys on offer is. Definitely recommend.

Oh my goodness.... so pleased with my purchase, a special steiff cuddly for my little nephew. Need to return when I have more time as there is so much to look at. Lovely lovely shop.

I've never been disappointed here, with the 18,000 bears it's great. My daughter always falls in love and gets a new bear. She's only got 250 (about) and already previously donated about 60 odd to charity. The pictures were from another time we visited.Best bear shop in the country ??

Called them to ask for photos. Very friendly staff with quick response, but they?re not quite good at taking photos?The first two photos are from the shop, and the last two are from me :)Delivery was quick - DPD arrived in two days. Great shopping experience!

I love it here!! My husband took me while we were in the area for our anniversary - what a brilliant surprise. I love teddy bears and being here was so much fun! Great selection - so fun to walk around and browse - I did however buy 4 teddies? Great fun and lovely staff too.

Beautiful shop, there's a plush for just about anything you could imagine: classic teddy bears, Peter Rabbit characters, lots of Jellycat plushes, and incredible realistic animals of all kinds. Great customer service. Will be back!Update December 2022, still an amazing place. Great for any kind of plush you'd like, came home with a sweet Merrythought bear this time

Shocked by the reaction from the lady who was working in the shop in Taunton today .I asked if they stocked a certain bear to be told a point blank no I said its on your Web site so she looked it up, they had 2 !!I said I tried to ring you yesterday and left two messages oh we haven't been answering the phone !! really this close to Christmas, I really couldn't believe how uninterested in us she was . I asked if they stocked another bear to be told they never made one called that ! yes they do. She asked if I was a collector to which I replied yes and she seemed a bit more interested in us .I tried to support my local bear shop but with such bad service I've taken my business elsewhere . shame but I tried .Customers service needs to be addressed in this store I've worked I retail 35 yrs this service is shocking .
