I ordered late on Saturday & the order was accepted, pick up 11am Sunday ! Amazing service, but on Sunday no collection ready text came through, so dropped into the shop to be told , yes it will be today just running late & after arranging my day around a later collection, it never turned up,but Monday morning I?ve got the we?ve got your collection ready text and phone call. When I picked up the part the lady said in Halfords, you can never pick up on a Sunday as the wholesaler is closed this did not impress me , so Halfords SORT IT OUT !

Just want to say what an excellent job Chantelle did today at Bridgwater Halfords. I had booked what I thought was a free tire check at the autocentre but went there and they had no record of it, so they sent me to Halfords store. Despite being seemingly low staffed and them also not having record of my booking, she offered to do a free 10 point check as part of my membership package, which she did thoroughly and effectively. Her positive attitude and willingness to do more than she needed to do is worthy of praise and was appreciated.

Phoned to ask if they had Thule roof racks, said yes.Checked on Thule Web site what racks were available in the UK.Went to Halfords Bridgwater. Display poor with racks muddled up, didn't have displayed what I was looking for. Spoke to a young guy who said he would check. He disappeared saw him again 10 minutes later serving someone else. 2 more staff members couldn't help, all polite but not helpful. Told me to see someone at back of shop. Now been there 30 minutes.This person checked on the computer said not working went back to front of the shop. Advised me that they did not stock the particular rack I wanted and that it was not legal to use a 140cm rackI left not amused after wasting 45 minutes.Went home re checked with Thule and ordered directly online. It was delivered and I fitted it myself. Online video hard to find a good informative one once found very easyBridgwater Taunton not good. Drive to Taunton staff more helpfulDissapointed

Excellent service I booked a time slot for bulbs and windscreen wiper replacement the person who did it was Excellent and explained about different options I could have for my car and was in and out in less than twenty minutes

On Tuesday 2nd January 2024 I took my VW beetle in to Halfords Shop in Bridgwater to get my headlights changed.I had to wait a long time to be served and was told there was a half hour wait due to only one mechanic in store.I decided to do my shopping and return later.On my return I had a shorter wait as there were now two mechanics.I was duly served and went to my car with the young man to be told he couldn't change my lights because the side panel would need to come off.I asked what to do and he said "take it to a garage"...I decided to take it to Halfords garage Bridgwater and see if they could help.I was greeted by a very helpful man in reception and after telling him my situation, he and another mechanic told me that there was no need to take the panel off and that I had been misinformed.They then told me to pull my car in the garage and they would look at it there and then.It took two men to sort out what wasn't an easy job in my opinion but they did it to my absolute relief.I then went to pay, to be told, " its on us, happy new year, just drop in some biscuits when you are next passing".I was absolutely blown away by these mens utter kindness and respect for a woman desperate and not knowing what to do.They were calm, polite and so understanding and made me feel comfortable in surroundings that can feel overwhelming for alot of women.Unbeknown to them, I had had a rerrible day and needed my lights fixed ASAP as I drive dark lanes as a carer in the community.They made me feel safe to go to work again.I am so grateful ( so I took in biscuits) to these men and I feel strongly that they need praise from their managers and hierarchy within the Halfords establishment.Well done my Halfords angels and thankyou again from me.Louise Reynolds

The only reason I marked Halfords down was the internet site was a slight 'mare! But the person I dealt with at store to have my headlight bulbs fitted was excellent. Can't praise the guy enough. Thank you.
