“Telford Matalan is an ok store, however, I do feel the Shrewsbury store is a bit better as it often has more stock and products that cannot be found in the Telford store.All Matalan stores offer good quality products at reasonable prices though. With so many stores and department stores closing (like Debenhams) we all need stores like Matalan, so I am happy and very appreciative with the service they provide.”

“Bought some trainers but sales assistant had no clue on the different issues that people have with feet. I suffer from high arches but there was nothing on the footwear displays for guidence. I ended up educating the sales assistant. I needed something for my HIIT class but nothing in the training section offered any cushioning and ended up buying a running trainer that offered everything I needed. Cushioning on both heel and ball as well as support on the sides. Thd training trainers I could see collapsing with too much side movement. I very much doubt he would know how to use the gait machine.”

“Best staff and integrity. I Bought 2 pairs of trainers, one for me,one for my wife for a trip. She placed in suit case and tossed box.Later learned manufacturing sewn one up to tight and shorter.Manager did NOT hesitate to allow me to swap for another pair she admired..Sometimes manufacturing makes errors and even without box they stood by their products,reason only place we go,and they stock most recent offerings like back in the states..Nice people always working there.”

“Excellent range of Christmas goods. There was an increased range in the food hall, providing tempting goods for everyone. There was no shortage of assistance if required.Two days ago, I lost a favourite earring there, and staff found it, keeping it safe in lost property - going the extra mile. It was a very enjoyable visit.”

“So i Went into the store twice this week for trainers for me and for my son both times greeted by lovely Young Gentleman who i asked his name before i left and he was called Owen… he couldn’t do enough for me while shopping in store, really quick friendly and professional with a smile always! how ever i felt Guilty for owen as their was group of staff seem to be young ladies all having a giggle and laugh around the till area to which didn’t seem work related. Clearing knowing Owen was left on his own to work trainers which there was other customers around me waiting . Owen also took me to the till to pay.. and sorry to say but manners and attitude of the other staff was poor.JD is a store which i expect to be full of life vibrant kicking and ready with latest fashion with the same attitude with the staff to follow!i will be returning to shop here on the basis of Owens workmanship..But customer service in this store barr owen needs to be addressed.”

“In the past, I had worked for Argos, in their flagship store in Milton Keynes. I am happy to say that as a customer, that this store (Argos Telford) demonstrates exactly the level of customer service that all stores (Even the Flagship store in Milton Keynes) should follow.I have never had an issue purchasing items from this store, and have always been greeted by very friendly staff on the shop floor, at the tills, and even the collection point.Previously (from other stores) I experienced the problem of being sold customer returns, as well as items that had already been opened, and poorly re-sealed. I can safely say that this hasn’t once been an issue for me at Argos Telford.Argos Telford; you have set the bar high, and restored my faith and enjoyment in shopping at Argos.”

“Great shop always very polite staff shame everything is online these days as they do more online then in store of course its normal but their ralph lauren is limited in store compared to online but I prefer to buy in store so you can try before you buy ?”

“Been using click & collect for a while now for weekly shopping, normally go on a weekend. There's a young chap called Ben with dark hair who is really polite, helpful and friendly. I see him most of the time and even when it gets super busy keeps his calm and good customer service for everyone.The app and online shopping page are fairly easy to use and substitutions for out of stock items are not too bad either.”
