I spent a day sorting out and boxing items worth several hundred pounds. Drove a ten mile round trip. Loaded a full supermarket trolley. Walked 200 metres to the store. Only to be greeted by a lady with. "We're not taking any more donations today". Well how ungrateful. I will never donate to this charity again.

Decided to sort though my wardrobe today, l had lots of good clothes, some had never been warm, so thought I would take them to Severn hospice, Madeley. I used a trolley because the bag was so heavy. After telling the shop assistant on the till, I had some items to donate, she told me " put them down there" pointing to an area next to the desk, I struggle to get the bag out of the trolley (No offer of any help) she then said I needed to put my bag on top of another bag. When I said I couldnt lift my bag that high I was "you should have thought about that when you filled my bad" How rude, I told the shop assistant to forget it I would take my donation around the corner to Barbados where the staff were more polite. Shame on the shop assistant for missing out on some very good items

Ironbridge was closed - purposely drove out my way to this store - only to be told I had to take my boot full of free items around the front entrance and not through the back door where I was parked. (Front is opposite Tescoâ??s and no parking). Luckily Barnardoâ??s is next door and the two ladies were very kind and more than happy to take the items. Poor show Severn Hospice!
