They have a good variety of Christmas gifts on sale here, it was very nice, there is also a good choice of clothes for all occasions at the store from outdoor wear to casual, night attire and they are also selling nice Christmas jumpers, the only thing I find disappointing is the amount of card only self checkout tills, the queue for the cash till gets very busy quickly with only one staff member serving you.

Plenty of parking,the shop is big enough for a wheelchair or a walker between the clothing racks. Large selection of clothes and home items also Christmas items on sale now.

Matalan can have great bargains, and the sale is normally quite good...I go there more for household products, rather than their clothing.But I must add...as much as I am grateful that there are toilets for public use, as I have a weak bladder.... Matalan you really need to get a toilet cleaner. What a shock....toilet seats ripped off, toilet mess left in toilets, and the cubicles were just filthy, no toilet roll. The sinks were full of grime and it must have been at least a week's worth ! I do hope this was just an off day ?

1 manned checkout open. The rest are self-serve card-only tills. When you think about how many checkouts there used to be in this store, it is a disgrace. Nobody around to ask anything. Need to hire more staff in my opinion.

I was surprised at the affordability of many things. They have a "savers" range which is good value indeed. I got a pair of decent boat shoes, 3 pair of boxers and 5 pairs of socks for £26, I'm not too proud to say.

Matalan always has a great choice of clothes for a holiday trip. There were only 4 fitting rooms. The check outs are quick. Clean throughout the store and easy parking.

Matalan are brilliant you can get for houshold and clothes that you need the only down fall about matalan is their toilets they and smelly and disgusting cleaner needs to be in there more often to give them a good clean you would think the size of the shop they would take pride in keeping them cleaner but obviously toilets don't count when their taking your money.

Good shop, sells home stuff, kids etc, the only down fall is the price, also the fitting can be off abit, which makes u feel as though u have gained weight which isn't the case
