Probably the worst Tesco I have ever been to. The amount of customers have far outgrown the store making the car parking difficult and even worse when the summer visitors arrive. The aisles are tight making it feel like an obstacle course especially if you are filling a trolley. Even when there aren?t that many customers the store still feels crowded with the numerous staff with their 3 layer trolleys picking orders for collect and delivery. The whole shopping experience feels like the mad January sales of yesteryear. I only go there for the bare necessities now. Such a shame because Tesco has always been my preferred supermarket but this place would make the most easy going person feel stressed out.

Too small a store too small a car park too many discontinued items. Not a good store AT ALL. Prefer the coop by miles.

Pleasant store, usual Tesco experience. Car park has limited room to manoeuvre particulatly when motorhome users join in the fun??

It is the Walmart of the UK. They have everything you could ever hope to buy. Great place for a quick shopping trip or to get groceries for the week.

The Tesco Superstore in Stornoway is conveniently located for access via vehicle or foot. During my stay in the Outer Isles in July 2019 as part of a Scotland heritage travel trip, I came to the store utilizing both forms of transportation. The parking lot was large and easy to maneuver with spots well marked. It was straightforward to find on foot as well. On the front of the store was an ATM, where I withdrew some money to make sure to have cash on hand during my travels.Inside the store, items were easy to find and in good condition. I went with produce and meal items as where I was staying, the Macaulay Farm Lodge, had a kitchen we were allowed to use. Since a number of the places I stayed on my trip included breakfast, it was fun to get to cook a few of my own meals and I was happy to have high quality ingredients I could use. If arriving/departing via the ferry, the store is a block or two from the loading/unloading dock.

Largish Tesco with a good sized car park, although the car spaces are pretty tight. Well stocked with a good selection of standard foodstuffs and traditional Scottish fare. Handy for buying nibbles for the ferry.

Visited this store recently. Was totally shocked by the state of the disabled toilet, floor was wet, rusty bin in the corner overflowing with used paper. Wash hand basin, the plug hole waste was filthy.
