First time ever going into a CEX even as an Australian, loved this store. Huge range of video games, even for valuable consoles like Nintendo GameCube and PS Vita. Very knowledgeable staff and well set out store.Way better than EB Games in Australia although like a hybrid between EB Games and Cash Converters.Prices are also on a flat rate for the product and can sell inconsistently where you can get lucky and unlucky (not as badly as in Cashies). Better range of video games than Cash Converters across the road but they're also good for a different reason.Always look at the GameCube games, they're worth collecting or reselling.

Their customer service could be a bit better. We went in and ended up buying a game and the woman behind the till was looking at the floor and she just mumbled "card or cash" and I said card and paid for it and there was no eye contact, she just kept looking down at the floor when speaking to customers.

My daughter's 3 month old phone suddenly stopped working last week. With 21 months warranty remaining we took it back to CEX to see if they could find why it stopped. The staff member was more interested in finding something that would negate the warranty like the tiny hairline crack at the edge of the screen which may have been there when we bought it. The manager also spent all her time referring to their watertight warranty that wasn't worth the paper it was written on. They suggested the local Phone Doc. We reluctantly took it there and they agreed that the tiny hairline crack would not have stopped the phone operating. We left it for repair. I went back to express my disappointment and the manager just kept referring me to their worthless guarantee. Profit first - customer satisfaction zero. Many thanks for your prompt response. Your Stirling staff weren't even interested in finding what fault had stopped my daughter's phone from working, they were only interested in telling us that it wasn't covered and that we should take it to the local phone doctor and pay for the repair ourselves. All your potential customers should read the majority of other reviews before they consider listening to this worthless sales pitch. Would strongly recommend that you do not buy from this company. If your customers simply read through the reviews by most of your customers they will see that the warranty is very rarely valid. Profit first - customer satisfaction zero.

Stirling Branch normally has good customer service but staff ID 49131 today lacks any customer service skills. He is blunt and rude to customers and would benefit from going on a customer management course to improve his attitude! A thank you for your purchase might not go a miss too.

Nicely laid out and easy to get access, rather than struggling in small cramped shops. Service was quick too ?

Popped in today around 2pm. One girl and one guy on counter. I asked if she could check a specific item in stock for me. She was incredibly rude and made a gesture towards me which I had no clue about. I then said what does that mean I dont understand, I then realised she was possibly asking which specific DVD I was after. Very rude and not the first time either. Wont be back

i purchased a ps5 from the store at the cost of 500 pounds within 6 months the console suffered from a error code i was unable to fix. i returned the console to the store for repair and was assured that it would be fixed. 3 weeks later i returned for my console only to find it was "unrepaired" no reason was given and no option of possible refund or even a change of console to a working one were offered. staff were extremely rude and I will very unlikely return to purchase for cex again.

great shop ? bought some great classic video games here before and had a chat about them with staff in other cex locations the only shop that?s keeping my childhood memories alive :D what spoils it is the occasional amount of shall we say intoxicated customers that enter the store that can be quite rude cutting right through the line asking for help while your being served like what happened to me today. I remember one of my old support workers said to me he could smell drugs off one of the customers when we visited the Stirling branch a few years ago other than that I?ve had no problem with this store

Bought a charger online from CeX, but I was sent the wrong item. The guys in the Stirling store were fantastic - very friendly and helpful and got it sorted. With this level of customer service, I'll definitely be buying from them again
