They have many goods priced one pound. However, the reality of inflation and the cost of living price increases, prices have increased. Poundland still manages to offer very attractive goods at low prices. Very much a good value shop, that's been my experience.

Always a great place to find things you never thought you needed... only to then find out you never actually needed them.Whether it be phone chargers, clothes pegs, batteries, cans of some weird juice or a Fray Bentos pie if that's your thing. Get stuck in and fill your boots... in fact you might get lucky and they have boots on sale randomly placed next to some diarrhea medication.Always go prepared and bring at least a tenner as you'll go in for a sandwich and leave with a bag of utter nonsense.
