“Delighted with the friendly helpful and skilled team at Norrie’s garage in Bell Street, Stornoway. A breakdown requiring major repair far from home on a remote island in your campervan (aka your home) could have been a nightmarish prospect. Especially when the first two garages we visited refused to even look at our problem. Norrie could not have been more obliging carrying out an immediate temporary mend while a new radiator was ordered arriving on the next ferry. Our radiator had been damaged on rough ground in a car park beside Tolsta beach. First thing next morning he had mechanic, also from Tolsta, carry out fitting of replacement whilst we sheltered from torrential rain at home, ie in back of van. Apologies to our mechanic for forgetting his name, was it Andy? We went on to have a wonderful holiday and got back home safely to Glasgow yesterday. Many thanks to Norrie and his team. Highly recommend!”
