Well, looking through these reviews I'm glad to see I'm not alone in my opinions ( and Asda, are these genuine or just standard replies to the negative comments, saying it will be logged and feedback looked into? I mean does anybody at Asda Kirkcaldy actually give a toss?).I've complained many times on the customer surveys, but everything that the other reveiwers and myself have complained about still persists. The trolley situation is an absolute disgrace, a total lack of small trollies( you have to venture through the car park to find them) and the majority of the available ones are old, noisy, rusty and with wonky wheels that won't go where you want them too. Walk through the store anytime, and guaranteed you'll hear the ramshackle trollies trundling along with an embarrassed customer pushing them. And with no nightshift, replenishing the shelves with stock has to take place during trading hours. It has to be done, I get that, but some staff park the pallets and cages at some weird angles totally oblivious to the fact that there are customers about and making it difficult for us to navigate our trollies and pick items from the shelves. The same goes for the pickers going round with the scanners for online shops/click and collect, I'm certain they can't see customers, they don't move for you and whizz round corners almost banging in to customers ( like what happened to me recently ) and no apology whatsoever. As I said in a customer survey, I shop at this store because I only stay 5 mins away, but believe me, if I had my own transport I would go elsewhere. And you know what, nothing will change ...ever! Avoid this store at all costs.

Yesterday when I went in to the store while checking out we needed a trolley because my friend had a knee problem so he went to get the closest trolley which was clearly unattended. After the payments were done and when it was time to put the bags into the trolley the staff took the trolley away saying it?s hers. Is this what customer service is ??? I?m sorry this is not how you treat your customers.

Some of the rudest and most ignorant staff that I have ever come across in an Asda store.

Shocking response to a simple over the phone request to change my pick up time. They need to understand that we (the customer) have lives outside their Asda bubble and things unfortunately change. Definitely will not use this service, if not this Asda, again!!

Why is there a shortage of small trolleys? Shop wasn't busy but hardly any trolleys of any description were available at the front car park this morning. I had to go looking for one.

Self check out did not accept my £50. There was no notice to say £50 are not accepted. I had to go get change from customer service area at front of asda where lady was on phone for a very lengthy amount of time. Customers were not getting serviced. A kind customer swapped me money to let me get back to self check out. Staff at self check out said they were to busy to leave there place of work to go get change or call anyone to help me. Not enough staff!!! And the staff that were around were not helpful. Such a shame. Thank you to customer who helped me

This Asda is one of the worst I frequently visit. (Unfortunately little choice of large supermarkets this side of Kirkcaldy)There must be about 20 baskets for this entire shop as there?s frequently never any at the door, and I have to go squeeze past other customers and reach under tills to get one.Trolleys are in a state, every time I reach for one they?ve either got stiff wheels that don?t turn or wheels with flat spots that constantly bang and shake my daughter as she sits in the child seat.On multiple visits there has been 2 staff working on all 3 self-service areas (basket, trolley and scan as you go) the final straw was me and 3 other customers looking for bags stood there unable to continue, waiting for someone to turn up with a bag (who is also trying to clear red lights from other customers) all whilst queues are mounting up? if someone has forgotten their own bags whether you have bags on checkouts or on the arm of a staff member doesn?t change the fact that they need a bag? just make them available on the self-service checkouts! The same as they are on the manned checkouts that have bags on them. Asda must be one of the only retailers that does this and it just annoys people?. In fact not even all Asdas do this.. as the one in Dumbarton leaves bags on their self-service checkouts.

Absolutely horrible customer support.Hardly any small trolleys (as usual). No scan and go available. Not enough manned checkouts. Long queues at both manned checkouts and trolley checkouts.Long queue at lottery desk.No sign of anyone monitoring or remedying the situation. And this was early morning and not that busy.Cannot believe how much this branch has gone downhill in the last few years.

Rapidly going down hill. Out if date items, short date items and now damaged items. The damaged item looks as it has been packed in such away as to hide from me.
