My only complaint is you want to eat absolutely everything Annie has in the counter each time your there and there's so much to choose from. The steak and Guinness pie is the best I've ever had as is all her pies and cakes I could go on all day ?. Lovely warm friendly welcoming place Annie is a Ray of sunshine so lovely and the portion sizes are huge with everything, so it's fantastic there is a workspace in the cafe area with various take away containers and condiments to be able to take your left overs away with you esp for kids who don't always want to eat it all there and then. There are some lovely friendly animals around the Croft making it an ideal spot to stop for food with kids tho it's a place for everyone. Highly recommended visiting here you will be missing out if you don't it's well worth a drive out your way for.

Food, GREAT. The horse, OUTSTANDING! The cats, PERFECTION!!!My family and I always order a great deal more than we need as we know we?ll want more again later.Always friendly service and very generous portions. We love to see the cats when we sit in!If you want a sweet or savoury baked treat this is a great spot to go, definitely worth the trip from local areas but get there ASAP before it?s all gone!!The pulled BBQ pie is still on my mind and in my heart!Parking: It is well gravelled with good space.

What an amazing little gem, from when you walk into the shop and receive a warm welcome and then the food is absolutely brilliant and fairly priced which is nice to see during these hard times, would highly recommend, we will be going again.

Went there whilst up visiting my parents. Had a delicious haggis pie, carrot cake muffin and coffee for lunch. Range and quality of the food was first class. Make sure your hungry as the portions are on the large side, excellent value. Staff were great and service was quick.

The food is amazing. Everything is fresh and super tasty. The portions are large and you get much more than expected for the money spent. Highly recommend.

I'd seen the Highland cow cake on line and just had to have one on our recent tour of Scotland. We came all the way from Wales especially ? we purchased a few other baked goodies and all of them were delicious! As an added bonus they have the world's friendliest cat and a Clydesdale named Jack both enjoyed getting some attention from visitors. The bakery has what looks like a lovely indoor seating area and the shop has lots of other items for sale such as gifts, jams and chutneys.Would definitely recommend a visit, getting a Highland cow cake was one of the highlights of our trip for me ??

Friendly cats ? wonderful food and beautiful scenery. There is a lovely horse called Jack in the nearby field who loves pats! The soup, sandwiches and pasties taste amazing. The gift shop has varied items, I bought two marshmallow kebabs! I would definitely come back again.

Brilliant value for money and very tasty. A good view out to sea from the seating area. We had a pie, Fisherman?s lunch and one of their sweet treats. Everyone left satisfied. Recommend for lunch!

After a long cycle ride my husband and I saw the sign for Annie's Bakery - like finding an oasis in the desert. Wonderful to receive such a warm welcome from Annie's mother (soon established who Annie was ) all involved generously gave time, in spite of being busy, to explain the incredible, beautifully displayed range of savoury and sweet pastries, cakes etc. An immaculate, professional kitchen with the team working, all visible to customers, was very impressive. A small but interesting shop too. After placing our order we were directed to a pleasant, glazed dining area with efficient, friendly young people serving our delicious lunch. It absolutely 'made our day' to discover this very special place operated with great passion in such a remote location.

My wife wanted to go there because she wanted a "Highland coo" cake and th3y seel th3m here. Great range of quality products and we thought the prices were reasonable given the high quality It's a couple of miles of the NC500 route and maybe 15 minutes for John o groats but we'll worth a visit for their sweet and savoury range. Friendly and helpful stqff
