I also believe they sell good quality items. The shop is located on the ground floor of the Eastgate centre in Inverness and it is easily accessible.”

They were personable and chatted about things of interest as well as doing business.On my first visit I was able to browse at leisure before speaking with sales staff, and during a friendly conversation I was informed of all I needed to know about the items of interest and delivery arrangements.The following day I had an unexpected email from DFS that confused me, but all was pleasantly resolved because I found out I maybe getting a faster delivery than normal for my location, as goods are in-stock.On my second visit, I got the same positive response from staff and we concluded financial matters without any issues over a cup of coffee and a friendly chat.Finally, I hope the delivery works out as well as the purchase.Doing business with you has been a pleasure!”

“Great quality products with plenty of choice. Personal and helpful advice when choosing my kitchen prducts.Always available to answer any queries.However, I found the invoicing and payment process to be confusing and lacking.I was given the price of my final invoice and paid immediately. Only to be informed 6 weeks later, that I had underpaid and a further amount totalling over £200 was required. As I had not been provided with copies of my final invoices, I had to request them and spend time checking all products/prices and payments myself. This was not exactly what I had expected from Howdens”

“As a wheelchair users, it can be a little tight to get around. Used the lift, which is slow and gentle. Used disabled toilet, clean and tidy, but small. Stopped for a latté and scon and cake. Latte was supposed to be a large vanilla. It was large but no vanilla that I could taste! Cheese Scone was pleasant and cheesy. Caramel shortbread was OK. Lemon cheesecake was lovely, especially the pieces of lemon drizzle cake in it. Hot chocolate was small and, again, just ok. This was £12. Very reasonable.”

“I first discovered the Highland Melting Pot after a friend gifted me some snap bars in Lush dupe scents. The 'Rockstar' one is my favourite so far. (The soap was recently discontinued in Lush) The scent lasts ages! I've currently got 'Avobath' on my electric warmer, which is a lovely lemongrass scent.I just treated myself to some more, I think 'Daisy Chain' will be a new fave :) Also got a wee sample of another one to try in my order.Thanks again, will definitely be back for more!”

“Mostly good quality clothing at reasonable prices. Good range of home wares. Staff not much in evidence and long queue at the checkout. I spent 30 min finding what I wanted to buy and 36min waiting to pay. In their defence their Internet was down so no self service tills and limited card payments were allowed. Not the best experience.”
