Manager in Princes Square wouldn?t post an item to me from Glasgow to Northern Ireland d then proceeded to sell it the next morning after agreeing to hold it for me until I got the postage sorted .always had great customer service from Dublin City centre French connection girls who posted lighting and furniture to myself. Wry disappointed in these staff as this was a much wanted item she had stated no one was interested in this item for so so long and they had left it sitting aside manager needs to learn good helpful customer services she had no remorse in selling this item when I had went to alot if trouble to sort postage and packaging myself.\\nVisited store 19.7.23.

"Look for the woman in the dress. If there is no woman, there is no dress." ~ Coco Chanel You'll rarely find me in jeans and/or trousers... I LIVE in dresses. When I'm in and around Princes Square, I'll pop my head into French Connection to check out their dresses. Their women's selection is pretty comprehensive, and offers many different styles of dresses. I love meandering through the racks and by the walls lined with tailored and flowy fabrics. Prices can be a bit steep, so I make my assault when there are sales. The dresses I have bought (on sale) are well-tailored and quality. Aside from dresses, they also offer basics like jeans, shirts, jumpers, shoes and accessories. The service is friendly and helpful when needed. Bottom line: gorgeous well-tailored dresses, but if your wallet's a bit thin, you're best checking out the sales.

French Connection have some amazingly gorgeous dresses, I adore the shift dresses they had out last autumn, with beautiful beaded patterns embroidered into them. I'll never forget seeing the most beautiful yellow shift dress here with silver beads all over it, it was in the sale but still quite pricey so I went away to have a think about it and when I came back, it was gone. Gutted. Last season they brought out a dress that everyone and their Gran was wearing though, I saw it on Eastenders, Corrie and some other TV programmes and I also saw a few people wearing it on Christmas nights out too. It is a very popular shop, which gets huge press in top selling girly magz, so it's a bit risky as if you're spending so much money on a dress you want something with a little bit of originality. I've bought the odd casual item from here in the sales but most of the tops have ended up in charity shops, the quality just isn't there and the clothes seem to lose their shape very quickly. The staff are always really friendly here to, helping you out if you need another size and advice on what they think looks best if you're looking for an honest opinion, obviously they want you to buy it so you might get some over-exaggerated flattery thrown in too. I just think some of the dresses here are amazing so for that reason alone French Connection is more than deserving of 4 stars.

I really like this store because the clothing is always bang on trend and is better quality than your usual high street stores. It is a great shop to get a party outfit from when you are worried that you are going to turn up in the same Warehouse, Topshop or Oasis dress as someone else (and horror of horrors, they look better in it than you do, bitch!) I do agree with previous reviewers that French Connection can be over priced and that is why I tend to go here for occasion wear but would never consider this store for staples like jeans, t-shirts or knitwear. They are also good for classics that you intend to get a lot of wear out of and as such need good quality, for example a great leather bag or court shoe. The staff in this store are really friendly and whenever I am in I always end up carting loads of items around the store over my arm and as everything is on heavy wooden hangers this is such a pain! However the staff have always asked if they can take the items off me and leave them in a fitting room for me to try on. The girls on the fitting rooms are really good at giving you advise if you're unsure about something you're trying on and you always get some good chat from the cashiers at the till, who are usually male and occasionally rather handsome!

French Connection is one of those shops that always seems to have some gorgeous pieces, but you can never actually find something you're looking for inside. Everything is fairly well-made and the presentation is good, and it certianly fits the theme of Princes Square shopping centre. Everything has that aroma of overpriced-ness about it, however. If you're into a more upmarket, tailored look, and their funny sizes are right for you, it's probably worth an extra few quid not to be wearing the same Topshop and H&M garb as the rest of Glasgow's inhabitants. Personally, though, I always find that it's not quite worth digging deeper into my (topshop jeans) pockets to fish out that extra wad of cash on a similar item. Definitely worth a look in during the sales. The rest of the time? Not so much.

Places like this usually make my skin crawl, and especially French Connection in particular as I remember those horrific "fcuk me / fcuk you etc etc" t-shirts that people used to wear in the early 2000s as compensation for their lack of personality. So I was prepared for the worst when I joined Ebot in here as she looked for a festive dress, but was pleasantly surprised as there were a good few t-shirts and a jacket i noticed that I quite liked, even if truth be told I'd never actually buy them. I think the women's section is perhaps some way ahead of the mens, as there were a lot of very fancy dresses and the like, but they came at quite a hefty cost so bring your wallet.
