Had a brilliant experience with Stephen and the team choosing our carpets. Stephen was very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting us with making our decision on which quality carpet to go with. Would highly recommend this store for great customer service and a wide choice of carpets!

Carpetright ? CarpetwrongOn the 1st of November 2023 I went with my wife to Carpetright Glagow To purchase a carpet for our lounge. The staff in the store were friendly and helpful. We purchased a rectangular carpet with binding an all 4 sides to sit on a polished wooden floor. We paid £250 by credit card and agreed to pay the binding fee of £66 ,cash only accepted, on the following week. We made a couple of visits and phone calls to the store later in November about delivery dates and were told that the carpet was at the Binders and they were very busy. I offered to contact the Binders but was told that they do not deal with the customers, only the store.On the 2nd of December we were phoned that we could come and collect the finished carpet from the store. It had been coiled unevenly at an angle rather than the parallel roll of carpet we were expecting for a rectangular shape. When the carpet was laid out flat in the room it was immediately obvious that the carpet had been cut wrong with one end longer than the opposite end.We visited the store next day to discuss the problem and to discuss options. We agreed to have the carpet taken back and repaired. I have records of more than a dozen e mail exchanges resulting from the error and the Carpetright solution which we agreed to. As the Binders were busy at this time we had to keep the carpet down until early in the New Year when the Binders would not be busy and Carpetright would take the carpet to the Binders after it was cut to the correct dimensions.The carpet was removed from our home by Carpetright for repair on 24th January 2024 and not returned repaired until 22nd February 2024. That is 114 days from buying the carpet to having what we ordered now at home.That is sad. We are an elderly couple in our 80s and have had to get someone to move furniture in and out of the room because of the disruption Carpetright has caused us. This has been a very stressful period in our life and we haven?t even received an apology. J & Z Cent

Fantastic customer service was fantastic was in and out the store a few times was unsure what I wanted and Deborah was very helpful on what was good selling and quality wise so I left my whole house done amazing deals 10/10 service would highly recommend carpet right and Deborah for help and customer service

The lady staff was friendly and helpful when I toured the shop weeks ago; after selecting what I wanted, she gave a quote of around GBP4700, which I accepted. Minutes later, she told me that a 10% discount can be offered if I can do an online review. Sure, I did. After deducting the discount, the whole price went down to GBP4300. I paid GBP3000 at the scene and the staff handed me a folder of printed materials. Everything looked okay. Jobs were done. But the nightmare just started.First, around one week later, a gentleman from Carpetright came to my house to measure, and after his calculation he gave me a new price of around GBP4900, which shocked me. Then I checked the printed papers given by the lady, finding that the written price was around GBP4600, rather than GBP4300 as was told by the lady. This is a betrayal of trust. Very disappointed, I attempted to phone the sales lady, but as anticipated the phone call went unanswered. When I was prepared to drive to the company in person, probably because the measuring gentleman told the lady my reaction, the lady called me back minutes later, agreeing to cut the price back to around GBP4400. Although the price finally seemed reasonable, my confidence was significantly undermined.Second, the sale lady promised me that the carpet can be fitted in around 2-3 weeks. This is untrue. The sale was agreed on 19 September 2023, but the fitting day was arranged at 16 and 18 October 2023. This is not 2-3 weeks in time; it is 4 weeks later. But I accepted it, given that some minor breaches are inevitable. However, on 7 October 2023, another person from the company phoned me that the carpet scheduled for being fitted on 18 October 2023 was not available and that I had to wait until this November. This is very disappointing. This company is an international chain, supposed to have plenty of stocks. If the company does not have the carpet in reserve, how did you promise your customer a sale. This cannot be said to be honest.Third, the company seems to be ill-managed. The sales lady gave me the initial fitting dates at 16 and 18 October 2023, but the company computer system email notification showed that the fitting date is 7 October 2023. At best, it is the company's internal communication issue, at worst it might be the Glasgow store playing the tricks fooling the company's headquarter that fitting is done within the promised timeline.Given that I have already paid the whole price (excluding the fitting cost of around GBP900), stopping this deal seems to be counterproductive. But I just want to post this review online to warn my peer customers; be aware of this company when choosing a deal there.

We visited Carpet Right , we were served by Mr Alan. Such a nice polite gentleman. Helped us to the core to select the carpets we were looking for. took so much interest and had patients for advising the right kind of carpets for each area s of house. I strongly recommend this store, if you are looking for any refurbishments or mattress. 5 stars !!!Thanks Mr alan.

Me & my mother-in-law were in the Great Western Road Carpet Right, a lovely man called Alan approach us and couldn't have been anymore helpful when trying to assist my mother-in-law picking a rug for her living-room. My mother-in-law is delighted with it and now we will be arranging another visit to look at carpets for her stairs.

I visited the store with a relative and purchased some Lucido Azure and my auntie was absolutely delighted with the service she received. Staff member Donald was helpful and was very knowledgable and ensured we were happy with everything before purchasing. Would 100% recommend to a friend based on customer service and quality of product.
