I love the white company it?s my one of my favourite shops and I especially love it at Xmas . I went into the Edinburgh store today on a weekend Xmas shopping in Edinburgh all the way from oxford . I had already done a lot of shopping so had quite a few bags on me . I was struggling to get through the candle section as it was quite crowded. The two young girls opposite the door ( doing nothing ) found this absolutely hilarious and preceded to make snide comments and giggle about me as I manoeuvred through the shop. How rude and pretty mean to treat anyone like that let alone a customer . It?s like a school bully attitude/ mentality. I picked a couple bits up and left to continue to find stocking fillers in loccitane where I was greeted helped and met with the most amazing service. Felt quite embarrassed and shocked and definitely won?t return to this branch .

Walked into the store yesterday, was not met with any friendly customer service whatsoever, walked around with armfuls of clothes to try on no one bothered to say ?do you want me to put them in a change room? When I asked if I could try the clothes on, it was met with ?yes certainly? but with no direction, so I just went down the back & found a room myself. Lined up to pay , the shop assistant asked if I was on the mailing list, I thought I was but to no avail, she spent so long looking for my email address like it was the be all & end all & for what, I was thinking what is this all for just to blankly say , no you?re not on it & never bothered about signing me up ! So I never bothered to ask to be signed up! Really odd ! Anyway £270 later it?s a good job I like the clothes because their customer service really stinks !

Customer service is always very good in our experience. During our most recent visit my wife was attended by Toni, very kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. Well done for ensuring we had another great visit to the shop, its the customer service and attention to detail that guarantees loyal custom and that´s what every retailer wants and needs.

Store manager is rude and offensive she shouldn?t be in the management position. Been reported to Head office. Store isn?t as good as it was most items are required to be ordered in which you can?t do to store. White company clearly passed its best

Their products are good. But online delivery needs some attention - bizarrely they don't offer in-store collection and my last order took over 10 days to arrive.

I?ve been a customer of The White Company for many years and it has gradually declined. Whereas once it was a solid 4/5 today it has sunk to new lows and is, barely, a 1/5. I placed my order Tues over the phone, but was in the first few days of covid and although I saw the email saying the order had gone through, didn?t check it as I was feeling quite ill, my bad! Come Friday, the email came stating the order would arrive on the Sat. I checked to see if there was a time slot and found they were delivering the items to an address in London, I live in Scotland! A call to customer services to try and rectify the issue only to be told that they would cancel the order and refund me the money and given there was a present in the order I could re-order it with them and pay another £200 which they would then refund me at a later date. So their error and i would be £400 out of pocket until they could refund me!On top of this the shipping and billing date were the same on the order so they had to have changed the order addresses after taking the payment as it could not have gone through my bank with the wrong billing address.Customer service is very poor, I am currently awaiting a refund which may take up to 10 days, have spent 2.5 hrs on the phone trying to resolve the issue and am now out of pocket £200 and will have to spend more money on a present. Why they could not have just resent the package to the correct address and then tried to recover their erroneously sent package is beyond comprehension.
