Friendly and helpful lady behind the till, helped me with my choice from the hot food counter and gave good advice. Top marks for staff who are probably on minimum wage but still care about their customers.

Honestly I really like going here, it's my go to.Staff are non judgemental, friendly and helpful.I have Tourette's Syndrome, and always been treated with kindness and respect, regardless of my tics. If I need help finding something, they've always been very helpful and patient with me.They're also so friendly and happy for a chat. I've never felt unwelcome, judged or resented.I do wish they had some more types of stock, but if they don't have a type of sugar free juice, I'm not going to hold it against them.Prices are average for scotland, but they have a reduced price very often which is often a very good deal.You get out what you put in. Don't think i've ever had a negative experience here

Not keen on scotmid only if I have to and then I will use the self service but if I need electric I need an assistant and guaranteed when you go to them they are too busy talking to each other.especially a older woman.that is rude and ignorant behaviour.

Came in here today to buy cigarettes as I always do with the id I always use my young Scot card which the pass sign has been faded for the past couple years, anyway the people in today have denied my purchase and the girl behind the counter was very rude she stuck her finger up to me as I was leaving when I told her I would go elsewhere for my cigarettes.

Staff in the shop and post office are unbelievably rude. Been twice in the past few days and left both times completely in shock at how bad the customer service is.

Really one of the worst Scotmids I have ever been in! Staff are unfriendly mostly, Unprofessional completely and inpatient.They really seem to hate topping up Gas & Electric as the machine isn't fast enough. Not anyone's problem. Have been sent to the post office a couple of times, they are just as bad. Expensive prices in here but it is for convenience.Good selection of chilled wines though.Only go here if I really need to.The turn over of staff is insane. New staff every other week.

Was just in the Calder road scotmid no one would serve the customer at least 2 people walked out the girl at the counter was on a phone the boy had his head in the food area and wouldn't serve I put my basket of groceries on the counter and walked it's a disgrace I've been in a few scotmid they are all bad but that's the worst by far they should close it down.

This shop? The people who work in here think there too good to serve you I asked to top up my gas card it didn't work at the first till so the customer service assistant asked me to go to the post office to try so I went to try it here i asked politely do you do electricity here I got a "yeah" and do you take debit card here? "Yeah"! The lady just didn't seem to want to serve me I thought forget it and took my money else where - a smile and yes we do would have sufficed but not in here!

Actually the worst shop, been in here loads and honestly can say that the workers are really rude and ignore you or push past you. This morning I was on the self service and was completely ignored even though the the till was not quietly saying it needed over riding, it took another customer to say to them before they came. And then she gave me loads of attitude, I moved out of the way for her and she acted like I didn't, like I literally moved 3 ft away. She clearly didn't want to come over.

Snappy shopper is a disgrace, regularly shop by this way due to work commitments however, app is continually displaying items that are not in stock. If you're lucky you might get a call to offer you a substitute item. Normally it's a refund which takes 6 days to go back into your account. Nobody answers the phone. Regularly charged for items you don't get. When you do.speak to someone they're not interested in your complaint. £40 order went in by the time they updated my order I paid £10. No call to offer substitute. They're not interested. Avoid using snappy shopper!

Social distancing is very poor! Some genius put the masks next to the tills so people without a mask now look at the next to people being served! Even a shop assistant came round without social distancing.Apart from the poor covid precautions, the shop staff vary between okay, moody and down right hostile (even before covid). I really only go here when I have to as your likely to get shouted at by someone as your leaving the store or watch some drunk person from the pub next door shouting.There are better shops elsewhere as this attracts all the wrong people from the area.Edit: Staff now crowd the doorway without masks to direct people, so impossible to socially distance here.
